Tori has loved the same man for what seems like her entire life, but with a list of broken promises and lies told by her husband, Keyton, Tori finds herself at a crossroads. Does she try to salvage her marriage with the love of her life, or move on from all the pain and turmoil? Full-figured and beautiful TaNia is as independent as they come. She keeps her business in order and depends on no one. After her father's death, she moves back home to take care of her mother, which takes a lot of adjustment on her part. In the midst of all the changes in her life, her friend Lemonte has decided he wants more. He is on a mission to make her his, whether or not TaNia is ready for that. Winter has always depended on someone, whether it was her parents or the man she was in a relationship with. She no longer wants to be that girl, so she makes some changes and learns to stand on her own two feet. She lives a lifestyle that she is not particularly proud of, but it makes her goals and dreams that much easier to accomplish. Her parents are traditional and old school, so she hides her life from them, but when she lands in the sights of Demarco, she has to make a choice between love and comfort.

The heart he didn't know he had broken and the love that he newly discovered... tarnished. He wants nothing more than to love Winter for the rest of his life, but did he wait too long? Is it too late? Keyton wants to have some type of normalcy in his life, but all he gets is a constant flow of chaos. The constant onslaught of attacks on him and his wife's lives places him in a very dark place. All he has is Tori. She is all he wants so he has to protect her by all means, but she's hiding something from him that will surely spin his world off its axis. LeMonte is confused. How can the one he once loved beyond life no longer hold the love that he desires in the depths of her eyes? Why can't he feel it when she kisses him? Why do touches that used to come every minute now stretch too far for him to reach? He loves TaNia... always has, always will, but there is a very thin line between infatuation and love, and no clear way to determine if he's crossed it. The purpose of love is to offer a certain level of comfort and protection, but with so many enemies in the shadows, those things are hard to come by. Your favorite couples are back with new foes, fresh drama, and renewed chaos. At the end of it all, who loses grips with love and who will be STILL TIED?

Book The Romantic Lives of Emerging Adults

Download or read book The Romantic Lives of Emerging Adults written by Varda Konstam and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2019-01-21 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The romantic lives of emerging adults are often baffling and contradictory. While they prize committed and authentic relationships, they appear to be reluctant participants. They prefer to foster ambiguity in their romantic relationships, even as they value honesty and clarity. There is, at once, a valuing of long-term as well as a decentering of romantic relationships. Although our current understanding is incomplete, this text grapples with these perplexing questions. In attempting to understand emerging adults and their romantic lives, researchers must consider the challenging economic conditions in which today's emerging adults find themselves. With an emphasis on commitment and sacrifice and their centrality to one's readiness for a long-term relationship, this book reviews the main milestones in transitioning from an "I" identity to a "we" identity and discusses the concepts of choice and risk. Further, the book examines structures such as asymmetrically committed relationships, cohabitation, and marriage through the lens of commitment, risk, and risk avoidance. Probing extensively into the romantic lives of emerging adults -- their attitudes, values and expectations -- this text examines some of the developmental and contextual realities against which romantic attachment must be viewed. Critical topics such as casual and sexual experiences and relationships, integration of work and love, breakups, marriage, going solo, and social media and its influences are considered. The commonality and the individuality of the emerging adults presented throughout this text contribute to a rich understanding of emerging adults and how they live and love.
