The major focus of this study is to incorporate firm relation which should validate ordinary compensation plan into strategic compensation that leads towards employee satisfaction and motivation ultimately enhance the overall performance of employees. Furthermore, this study also try to attempt to unveil the novel area of EQ and try to relate it via transformational leadership with overall employees' performance. This concludes that there is strong positive relationship between compensation, EQ and employees performance in manufacturing concern as verified by primary data's analysis in discussion section.

Even though many studies including cross-cultural differences are conducted among German (individualistic culture) versus Indian (collectivistic culture) and managerial perspectives on EI differences between India and the United States, no productivity related studies are attempted which covered the knowledge workers. Thus it became pertinent to find out the relationship between emotional intelligence and productivity of Software Professionals of Trivandrum Technopark, Kerala, India. The most valuable asset of a 21st century institution (whether business or non-business) will be its knowledge workers and their productivity. Since knowledge workers have a greater impact in the economy‘s performance, they are perceived as an important area of opportunity and are starting to be included in organizational strategic plans to improve productivity. Increasing the productivity of knowledge workers provides a prospect for increasing profits by improving the overall process or product instead of simply eliminating costs. Methodology: This article presents a literature review that summarizes current research on emotional intelligence and organizational leadership theories. Study data was collected via survey methodology, with responses from more than 600 EMBA students with full-time work experience across multiple industries. Implications: This article contributes to the field of management by determining how leader behaviors impact employee commitment to their supervisor and the organization. Research to date has highlighted the importance of employee commitment, both with their job and organization, toward improved performance, worker retention, increased motivation, and reduced absenteeism and turnover. To date, minimal research has been conducted to determine how leaders might affect these outcomes. This study will focus on employee descriptions of leader behaviors in their organizations and levels of employee commitment to the leader and organization. The results of the study are expected to have implications for leader selection and training as well as strategies to improve employee performance and retention.
