Comparatively lesser in size are peach-faced lovebirds and these. - Fischer's lovebirds (Agapornis fischeri) have a more subdued color scheme, with a forehead and throat that are yellowish in contrast to their green body. Comparatively, they inhabit a more limited geographical area in Africa than other species. - Nyasa lovebird (Agapornis lilianae): This species resembles Fischer's lovebird in appearance, except its plumage is bluish in color. - Agapornis nigrigens, the black-cheeked lovebird, is a distinct species distinguished by its green torso and black cheeks.
