Une étude détaillée de la méthode des éléments frontières est entreprise sur le plan numérique pour evaluer la précision du calcul intégral et pour déterminer le choix des éléments de discrétisation surfacique. La méthode est appliquée sur des géométries élémentaires pour vérifier son comportement, puis dur des géométries typiques des turbomachines comportant une ou deux grilles montrant ainsi ses potentialités. L'étude de l'influence du second membre est enfin analysée.

Parmi les exemples qui peuvent etre modelises par l'equation de Poisson, citons le transfert de chaleur dans des ailettes de moteur, ecoulement a travers les conduites quelconques et d'autres problemes tels que, l'etude de la torsion des poutres de sections non circulaires arbitraires comme la torsion des pales d'helicopteres, les ailettes dans les refroidisseurs et les aubes dans les compresseurs. Les resultats presentes sont choisis pour des sections simples pour but de comparaison et d'autres de formes complexes.
