Book QUALIFICATION D UN SYSTEME DE CONTROLE ACOUSTIQUE STRUCTURAL ACTIF

Download or read book QUALIFICATION D UN SYSTEME DE CONTROLE ACOUSTIQUE STRUCTURAL ACTIF written by Frédéric Dahan and published by . This book was released on 1996 with total page 265 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DANS LE DOMAINE DE LA PREDICTION, LA MODELISATION NUMERIQUE EN VIBRO-ACOUSTIQUE (EN REGIME HARMONIQUE) EST EXPLOITEE POUR ETUDIER LES SYSTEMES D'ABSORPTION ACTIVE. L'ETUDE PORTE SUR LE CONTROLE ACOUSTIQUE STRUCTURAL QUI AGIT SUR LA STRUCTURE A L'ORIGINE DU BRUIT A SUPPRIMER. OR, CETTE METHODE CONDUIT SOUVENT A UNE AMPLIFICATION DES VIBRATIONS STRUCTURALES (EFFET SPILLOVER). COMMENT DEFINIR ET QUALIFIER UN DISPOSITIF ACTIONNEURS/CAPTEURS QUI, A PARTIR D'UN CONTROLE LOCAL PAR ANTICIPATION DE TYPE LMS, ATTENUE EFFICACEMENT LE RAYONNEMENT GLOBAL SANS EFFET SPILLOVER ? EN PREMIER LIEU, NOUS MONTRONS QUE LA SENSIBILITE DES MECANISMES DE CONTROLE S'OPPOSE A LA RESOLUTION MODALE DU PROBLEME. EN REVANCHE, UNE APPROCHE GLOBALE PERMET D'OBTENIR UN DISPOSITIF QUI ATTEINT L'OBJECTIF FIXE. LA FORMULATION DANS L'ESPACE DES COMMANDES, AIDE A DEFINIR UNE CONFIGURATION D'ACTIONNEURS AVEC UNE COMMANDE IDEALE QUI TIENT COMPTE DE LA CONNAISSANCE DU MODELE. IL EST DEMANDE ENSUITE A UN NOMBRE FINI DE SENSEURS D'ESTIMER CETTE COMMANDE. DEUX APPROCHES SONT DEVELOPPEES. LA PREMIERE RESIDE DANS LA DEFINITION D'UN FILTRAGE SUR DES CAPTEURS DE POSITION PREDETERMINEE ET LA SECONDE SUR L'OPTIMISATION DES POSITIONS DES SENSEURS. AVEC LA SECONDE METHODE, LES CAPTEURS SONT PLACES SUR LES NUDS DU CHAMP RESIDUEL IDEAL. CE RESULTAT EST ANALYSE LORSQUE LES NUDS SONT ABSENTS, PUIS VALIDE EXPERIMENTALEMENT. LA DEMARCHE PROPOSEE PRESENTE L'INCONVENIENT D'ETRE TRIBUTAIRE DU CHAMP PRIMAIRE. NOUS PROPOSONS ALORS UN MOYEN DE DISCRIMINER LES DISPOSITIFS DE CONTROLE RELATIVEMENT A LEUR ROBUSTESSE AUX VARIATIONS DU CHAMP PRIMAIRE. LA METHODE GLOBALE EST FINALEMENT INSEREE DANS UN MODELE NUMERIQUE DE LA CABINE D'UN AVION COUPLEE A SON FUSELAGE. LE NOMBRE IMPORTANT DE DEGRES DE LIBERTE DU MODELE ELEMENTS FINIS SUPPOSE UN TRAITEMENT DES OPERATIONS POUR REDUIRE LES TEMPS DE CALCUL. LES RESULTATS OBTENUS FOURNISSENT DES INFORMATIONS INTERESSANTES SUR LES MECANISMES DE CONTROLE D'UNE CAVITE VIBRANTE

L'IDEE ESSENTIELLE EST DE CONSTITUER DES MURS ACTIFS PAR UN ASSEMBLAGE DE CELLULES ELEMENTAIRES AFIN DE CHANGER LA REPARTITION ENERGETIQUE D'UNE SALLE. CHAQUE CELLULE DOIT PERMETTRE DE REGLER LE NIVEAU DE RETOUR DU HAUT-PARLEUR A UNE VALEUR DESIREE TOUT EN CONTROLANT LA STABILITE DU SYSTEME. UN ENSEMBLE DES CELLULES CONVENABLEMENT COUPLEES POURRA ALORS CONTROLER LE COEFFICIENT DE REFLEXION GLOBALE D'UN MUR ACTIF. PAR CONSEQUENT, LE TEMPS DE REVERBERATION ET LES PREMIERES REFLEXIONS D'UNE SALLE SERONT CONTROLES. UNE STRUCTURE D'UNE CELLULE ELEMENTAIRE DU SYSTEME DE MUR ACTIF EST PROPOSEE. DEUX FILTRES ADAPTATIFS SONT INTRODUITS POUR CONTROLER RESPECTIVEMENT LA STABILITE ET LE NIVEAU DE RETOUR D'UNE CELLULE DU SYSTEME. LES ALGORITHMES DE CALCUL DES DEUX FILTRES ADAPTATIFS SONT PRESENTES. LES PRINCIPAUX RESULTATS THEORIQUES SONT ILLUSTRES SUR DES SIMULATIONS. LE PROBLEME DE L'ORGANISATION DES CELLULES D'UN SYSTEME DE MUR ACTIF EN VUE DE RECONSTITUER UN CHAMP SONORE LE PLUS NATUREL POSSIBLE A ETE ABORDE. LES RESULTATS DE SIMULATION DE DEUX TYPES DE MURS (UN MUR ACTIF ET UN VRAI MUR DE MEME DIMENSION) ONT ETE COMPARES. LA FAISABILITE PRATIQUE EST DISCUTEE. Book Adhesion Between Polymers and Concrete Adh sion Entre Polym res Et B ton

Download or read book Adhesion Between Polymers and Concrete Adh sion Entre Polym res Et B ton written by H. R. Sasse and published by Springer. This book was released on 1986 with total page 792 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Preface Adhesion is a phenomenon architects and civil engineers are not very familiar with. In other disciplines knowledge about surface properties and the background of bonding energies is also far from satisfactory; nevertheless there are many important· applications in concrete engineering, where adhesion is necessary for success and durability. These include: - coating and painting - repair of concrete surfaces - bonding of fresh to old concrete - crack injection - glueing of precast elements - glueing of steel to concrete, etc. In 1981 RILEM established the technical committee 52-RAC 'Resin Adherence to Concrete'. The main aims of the committee's work were - to collect research results and practical experiences - to initiate and coordinate research programs - to develop, on a scientific base, test methods for field and for laboratory purposes. One of the results of the committee's work is a state-of-the-art report, which will be presented orally as a General Report at the International Symposium ISAP '86, and will be printed either in the RILEM journal Materials and Structures or separately. Several test recommendations have been elaborated and will be prepared as drafts for the participants ofISAP '86. These are: - direct tensile test - pull-off test - direct shear test - slant shear test - four-point bending test - dynamic loading test - thermal compatibility test (two versions) - injectibility test.

Book Sonic Interaction Design

Download or read book Sonic Interaction Design written by Karmen Franinovic and published by MIT Press. This book was released on 2013-03-22 with total page 391 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An overview of emerging topics, theories, methods, and practices in sonic interactive design, with a focus on the multisensory aspects of sonic experience. Sound is an integral part of every user experience but a neglected medium in design disciplines. Design of an artifact's sonic qualities is often limited to the shaping of functional, representational, and signaling roles of sound. The interdisciplinary field of sonic interaction design (SID) challenges these prevalent approaches by considering sound as an active medium that can enable novel sensory and social experiences through interactive technologies. This book offers an overview of the emerging SID research, discussing theories, methods, and practices, with a focus on the multisensory aspects of sonic experience. Sonic Interaction Design gathers contributions from scholars, artists, and designers working at the intersections of fields ranging from electronic music to cognitive science. They offer both theoretical considerations of key themes and case studies of products and systems created for such contexts as mobile music, sensorimotor learning, rehabilitation, and gaming. The goal is not only to extend the existing research and pedagogical approaches to SID but also to foster domains of practice for sound designers, architects, interaction designers, media artists, product designers, and urban planners. Taken together, the chapters provide a foundation for a still-emerging field, affording a new generation of designers a fresh perspective on interactive sound as a situated and multisensory experience. Download or read book Reading and Dyslexia written by Thomas Lachmann and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-07-28 with total page 339 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this volume a group of well-known experts of the field cover topics ranging from basic visual and auditory information processing to higher order cognition in reading and dyslexia, from basic research to remediation approaches and from well-established theories to new hypotheses about reading acquisition and causes for its failure. Reading is one of the most intriguing feats human evolution ever came up with. There is no evolutionary basis for reading as such; reading is secondary to language and the result of a complex skill acquisition at the end of which almost all pre-existing cognitive functions are mobilized. With the right instruction and practice most people learn this skill smoothly. Some, however, have problems, despite same opportunities and general cognitive abilities. This developmental dyslexia results from a neuro developmental disorder leading to deficits in reading relevant information processing. But what deficits are these, and can they be trained?

Book General Lesley J McNair

Download or read book General Lesley J McNair written by Mark T. Calhoun and published by University Press of Kansas. This book was released on 2015-05-15 with total page 432 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: George C. Marshall once called him "the brains of the army." And yet General Lesley J. McNair (1883-1944), a man so instrumental to America's military preparedness and Army modernization, remains little known today, his papers purportedly lost, destroyed by his wife in her grief at his death in Normandy. This book, the product of an abiding interest and painstaking research, restores the general Army Magazine calls one of "Marshall's forgotten men" to his rightful place in American military history. Because McNair contributed so substantially to America's war preparedness, this first complete account of his extensive and varied career also leads to a reevaluation of U.S. Army effectiveness during WWII. Born halfway between the Civil War and the dawn of the 20th century, Lesley McNair–"Whitey" by his classmates for his blond hair–graduated 11th of 124 in West Point's class of 1904 and rose slowly through the ranks like all officers in the early twentieth century. He was 31 when World War I erupted, 34 and a junior officer when American troops prepared to join the fight. It was during this time, and in the interwar period that followed the end of the First World War, that McNair's considerable influence on Army doctrine and training, equipment development, unit organization, and combined arms fighting methods developed. By looking at the whole of McNair's career–not just his service in WWII as chief of staff, General Headquarters, 1940-1942, and then as commander, Army Ground Forces, 1942-1944–Calhoun reassesses the evolution and extent of that influence during the war, as well as McNair's, and the Army's, wartime performance. This in-depth study tracks the significantly positive impact of McNair's efforts in several critical areas: advanced officer education; modernization, military innovation, and technological development; the field-testing of doctrine; streamlining and pooling of assets for necessary efficiency; arduous and realistic combat training; combined arms tactics; and an increasingly mechanized and mobile force. Because McNair served primarily in staff roles throughout his career and did not command combat formations during WWII, his contribution has never received the attention given to more public–and publicized–military exploits. In its detail and scope, this first full military biography reveals the unique and valuable perspective McNair's generalship offers for the serious student of military history and leadership.
