Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Books on the mathematics of pyramids tend to provoke sighs of resignation from Egyptologists. Not only are they often filled with impenetrable jargon and equantions, but also they tend to be based on deeply-felt underlying beliefs in alien contact or conspiracy. As Sally Katary writes in the introduction, this is not one of those books, but an interesting exploration into the way in which the whole Egyptian pyramid complexes at sites like Giza and Dahshur were tied into plans stretching over generations of pharaohs, and linking in waterworks, roads and drainage ditches, as well as the monuments themselves.

The pyramid will not be understood until man has an understanding of the much bigger picture of reality, into which the pyramid fits. Book How to Make a Meditation Pyramid

Download or read book How to Make a Meditation Pyramid written by Brad Marmion and published by Natural Alchemy Society. This book was released on with total page 34 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many have found meditation pyramids to enhance their experience, whether it’s for meditation, sleep, practitioner work, healing or yoga sessions. They are a form of sacred geometry providing a higher and more grounded connection which naturally occurs when in a pyramid. For this reason, they have been used throughout history across many ancient cultures as a sacred place or temple. When someone makes their own pyramid in the current high energy time of awakening it helps instil the value of creation as sacred and potentises the pyramid further. I have been making sacred geometries for over 20 years and have outlined a simple, step by step, affordable way off building a portable timber pyramid to the size you want with little or no experience and just a few tools. If you are feeling uncertain, I can suggest some online tutorials, or perhaps you have a hands-on friend and can make it together. It’s pretty amazing to do and good fun with an awesome result. On costing, this will vary depending on materials and size you chose, the materials for the pyramid I made for this book were from the local hardware store and cost only $37.40 AUD.

Book The Shape of the Great Pyramid

Download or read book The Shape of the Great Pyramid written by Roger Herz-Fischler and published by Wilfrid Laurier Univ. Press. This book was released on 2009-10-21 with total page 307 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Who has not seen a picture of the Great Pyramid of Egypt, massive in size but deceptively simple in shape, and not wondered how that shape was determined? Starting in the late eighteenth century, eleven main theories were proposed to explain the shape of the Great Pyramid. Even though some of these theories are well known, there has never been a detailed examination of their origins and dissemination. Twenty years of research using original and difficult-to-obtain source material has allowed Roger Herz-Fischler to piece together the intriguing story of these theories. Archaeological evidence and ancient Egyptian mathematical texts are discussed in order to place the theories in their proper historical context. The theories themselves are examined, not as abstract mathematical discourses, but as writings by individual authors, both well known and obscure, who were influenced by the intellectual and social climate of their time. Among results discussed are the close links of some of the pyramid theories with other theories, such as the theory of evolution, as well as the relationship between the pyramid theories and the struggle against the introduction of the metric system. Of special note is the chapter examining how some theories spread whereas others were rejected. This book has been written to be accessible to a wide audience, yet four appendixes, detailed endnotes and an exhaustive bibliography provide specialists with the references expected in a scholarly work.

Book excerpt: Understand the Complexity of the World's Greatest Monument Standing sentinel for four and a half millennia, the Great Pyramid of Giza has fascinated all who have beheld its imposing and elegant mass. In The Great Pyramid Decoded, historical theorist, researcher, and best-selling author Peter Lemesurier shares observations based on a simple numeric code which reveals illuminating perspectives on the past as well as prophetic visions of the future. Does the Great Pyramid hearken back to another civilization much older than ancient Egypt? Is it the Old Testament writ in stone? Is it an ancient observatory? A treasure house? A tomb? Is there a message in the geometric ratios? Lemesurier carefully explores these theories and draws some enlightening and meaningful conclusions. Translating the wisdom of this ancient monument, the author presents recommendations for the future which are consistent with the advice of Saint Malachy, Nostradamus, and Edgar Cayce, among others. Making connections to several religious traditions, Lemesurier uses the Great Pyramid to illustrate humankind's place in the universe. Read what this archaic wonder of the world has to say about where we came from and where we may be heading. Learn how this one ancient wonder can teach us that we have the potential to reawaken to an enlightened path forward. A must for anyone interested in the mystical wisdom of one of the most magnificent civil engineering feats of all time.
