Hence, the main objectives of the research work are to understand the effectiveness of the economics of selected health care service sector related public service outdoors advertising, specifically pertaining to the internal and external elements that make them effective and successful for both public or consumers and the government in Tripura. Secondly, to find out influence of health care service sector related public service television advertising in electronic media and its effect in pursuing the announcement made for public cause in Tripura. Thirdly, to find out influence of health care service sector related public service print media advertising and its effect in pursuing the announcement made for public cause in Tripura. Fourthly, to find out the overall reach of the recent government sponsored health care service sector related public service advertising among public in Tripura and finally, to find out the right media for telecasting the health care service sector related public service advertising to make it more effective. This study is mainly based on the primary and secondary data. Primary data collected through pre-tested questionnaire and secondary data collected from the various sources like published reports, Web Articles, Journals and research report etc. The total sample size for the study is 540 and purposively divided into two parts, 240 sample for the study area and 300 for the all-India level case study. 240 sample sizes were collected covering all (eight) district of Tripura and 300 sample sizes were considered purposively for the case study analysis at all India level. General socio-economic and demographic characteristics of respondents from the study area were analyzed through Frequency, Percentage Table and Pie Chart, Hypotheses analyses were carried out using Chi square test and calculation of Phi and Cramer's V were carried out to measure the effect, Pearson Correlations were carried out involving Public service advertising observation experiences and socio-economic characteristics of the respondents, Multiple stepwise forward logistic regressions analysis were carried out to measure the influence of observational experience of Public service advertising of Health care service Sector in Tripura, India, Bar chart for all statement in the questionnaire, Factor Analysis, KMO and Bartlett's Test (Factor wise questions/items), Basic and Descriptive Statistics like mean, median, SD, variance etc., Histograms, t-test are also used in the study and The Kruskal-Wallis test - a non-parametric alternative to the One-way ANOVA, Spearman correlation coefficient are also used in the study with the help of SPSS.

Majority of the population, especially the poor and those residing in rural areas, did not have access to modern health facilities. Consequently, the morbidity and mortality rates were quite high. Many women died while seeking abortion to get rid of unwanted pregnancy because access to contraceptives for preventing pregnancies was not available. Similarly, antenatal and postnatal care and services were poor and out of reach for majority of women and their families. Improvement in the health status of the population has been one of the major thrust areas in social development programmes of India since Independence. Over the past six decades, India has built up a vast health infrastructure and manpower at primary, secondary and tertiary care levels in the government, voluntary and private sectors manned by professionals and para-medicals. India has invested massive amounts under the successive Five Year Plans in medical education, training and research which has ensured large manpower from the super-specialists to the auxiliary midwives. Considerable achievements have been made to improve health standards such as increase in life expectancy, decrease in infant and maternal mortality, and eradication of small pox and guinea worm. Nevertheless, problems abound. Malnutrition affects a large proportion of the population especially women and children. An unacceptably high proportion of the population continues to suffer and die from new diseases apart from the existing ones. Pregnancy and childbirth related complications also contribute to the suffering and mortality of women. This book provides a comprehensive introduction on current status of health and health-related services in India. Book excerpt: Case Study from the year 2020 in the subject Health - Health system, , language: English, abstract: The study attempts to explore the impact and challenges of PHC delivery system with the intension of generating data for policy and planning. The goal of primary health care (PHC) was to provide accessible health for all by the year 2020 and beyond. Unfortunately, this is yet to be achieved in Nigeria and seems to be unrealistic in the next decade. The PHC aims at providing people of the world with the basic health services. Though PHC centers were established in both rural and urban areas in Nigeria with the intention of equity and easy access, regrettably, the rural populations in Nigeria are seriously underserved when compared with their urban counterparts. About two-thirds of Nigerians reside in rural areas therefore they deserve to be served with all the components of PHC. Primary health care, which is supposed to be the bedrock of the country's health care policy, is currently catering for less than 20% of the potential patients. While most PHC facilities are in various state of disrepair, with equipment and infrastructure being either absent or obsolete, the referral system is almost non-existent. The goal of the National Health Policy (1987) is to bring about a comprehensive health care system, based on primary health care that is promotive, protective, preventive, restorative and rehabilitative to all citizens within the available resources so that individuals and communities are assured of productivity, social well- being and enjoyment of living. The health services, based on PHC, include among other things: education concerning prevailing health problems and the methods of preventing and controlling them, promotion of food supply and proper nutrition, material and child care, including family planning immunization against the major infectious diseases, prevention and control of locally endemic and epidemic diseases and provision of essential drugs and supplies. The provision of health care at PHC level is largely the responsibility of local governments with the support of state ministries of health and within the overall national health policy. Private medical practitioners also provide health care at this level.
