Book Ki Or Psi Anomalous Remote Effects of Mind body System

Download or read book Ki Or Psi Anomalous Remote Effects of Mind body System written by Hideyuki Kokubo and published by Nova Science Publishers. This book was released on 2015 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is said that humans have unknown power known as ki (bio-psychokinesis). Ki is also not unlike other forms of bio-energy, such as prana in ancient India or psi in modern parapsychology. Referred also as energy medicine, spiritual healing and prayer therapy, these practices have been executed throughout different points in history and countries all over the world. Moreover, energy medicine has been used in hospitals recently. However, there are many unresolved problems with such bio-energy. The focus of this book is the author's biophysical study on anomalous phenomena, which are claimed to be caused by bio-energy. In Chapter I, the author describes the concept of ki in modern Japan. He also describes the concept of bio-sensors to detect implicit anomalous weak energy. Bio-sensors are important in modern parapsychology, and many successful studies are done using bio-sensors. In Chapter II, the author summarises new findings obtained through his studies by using the pieces of a cucumber. Through his unique methods, various properties of ki (psi) are found. The most important finding is that the ki (psi) phenomenon follows simple laws in physics. The author measured the spatial distribution of ki-field, which is generated around a human body. The result of the world's first quantitative measurement of ki-field is shown in this book. In Chapters III & IV, the author explains the detail of how to use cucumbers as a bio-sensor for weak bio-energy; some examples of these are gas, biophoton, and fluorescence measurement methods. The author describes them for students and beginner studiers of ki (psi), and the readers will be able to understand and execute them by themselves completely. A brief touch on Japanese studies on ki (psi) is shown in Chapter V. Additionally, the author describes Chinese parapsychological study. These historic inheritances will help the readers to understand research senses of the modern study on ki and psi.

Book Parapsychology in the Twenty First Century

Download or read book Parapsychology in the Twenty First Century written by Michael A. Thalbourne and published by McFarland. This book was released on 2005-01-06 with total page 397 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: By now, parapsychology should have become an accepted scientific field of research. However, there is great resistance to parapsychological research despite the strength of evidence in favor of conducting it. This collection of essays focuses on the future of the psychical research field. One essay speculates about a kind of future when psychic phenomena are studied in every university. Another identifies 10 areas of potential difficulty facing parapsychology. Other essays indicate areas where conclusions may need re-examination and refinement and presents possibilities for innovative approaches to future study. Some of the areas of study covered include altered states of consciousness, ESP, Meta-Analysis, the theory of psychopraxia, and sociological and phenomenological issues.

Book Improving Complex Systems Today

Download or read book Improving Complex Systems Today written by Daniel D. Frey and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2011-07-09 with total page 487 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As the main theme of Improving Complex Systems Today implies, this book is intended to provide readers with a new perspective on concurrent engineering from the standpoint of systems engineering. It can serve as a versatile tool to help readers to navigate the ever-changing state of this particular field. The primary focus of concurrent engineering was, at first, on bringing downstream information as far upstream as possible by introducing parallel processing in order to reduce time to market and to prevent errors at a later stage which would sometimes cause irrevocable damage. Up to now, numerous new concepts, methodologies and tools have been developed, but over concurrent engineering’s 20-year history the situation has changed extensively. Now, industry has to work in the global marketplace and to cope with diversifying requirements and increasing complexities. Such globalization and diversification necessitate collaboration across different fields and across national boundaries. Thus, the new concurrent engineering calls for a systems approach to gain global market competitiveness. Improving Complex Systems Today provides a new insight into concurrent engineering today.
