Book excerpt: La politique constitue un des déterminants clés qui influence le niveau d'activité physique de la population en agissant structurellement et durablement sur les organisations, ainsi que sur les environnements dans lesquels les individus vivent, travaillent, se déplacent et se divertissent (Bauman et al., 2012, Golden et al., 2015). Des politiques de promotion de la santé par l'activité physique efficaces nécessitent d'être développées de façon systémique et intersectorielle tout en s'intégrant dans les écosystèmes locaux (De Leeuw et al., 2014, WHO, 2018, Rutter et al., 2020). Cependant, la littérature fait état d'un manque de données probantes pour informer et accompagner les décideurs locaux dans le processus de développement de ces politiques (Bull, 2018). Au regard de l'état de la littérature, l'objectif de ce travail est de contribuer au développement des connaissances sur les politiques locales de promotion de la santé par l'activité physique. Cette thèse pose l'hypothèse qu'il existe des facteurs, ainsi que des processus, qui influencent et conditionnent le développement de ces politiques sur le territoire Azuréen (i.e., Alpes-Maritimes et le Var). Dans cette perspective, ce travail a fourni un aperçu de la littérature émergente sur ce sujet au moyen d'une revue exploratoire de la littérature (étude 1). Cette étude a également permis de montrer, qu'à ce jour, il n'existait pas de méthode standardisée permettant d'étudier les politiques de promotion de la santé par l'activité physique au niveau local. Ainsi, un Cadre d'Analyse des Politiques Locales Activité Physiques-Santé (CAPLA-Santé) a été développé (étude 2) afin de recueillir et d'étudier des données empiriques issues d'une dizaine de municipalités de taille moyenne du territoire Azuréen. L'utilisation du CAPLA-Santé a permis de donner un aperçu du développement des politiques de promotion de la santé par l'activité physique dans ces municipalités. L'analyse de ces politiques a permis de mettre en évidence des obstacles, des leviers, ainsi que des perspectives afin de favoriser leur développement, et améliorer leur efficacité (étude 3). Au sein de ce même échantillon de municipalités, des données empiriques ont été recueillies, sur les perceptions des élus et des responsables de service, issus de différents secteurs sur le développement de politiques de promotion de la santé par l'activité physique (étude 4). L'analyse de ces données a contribué à identifier des barrières et des leviers au développement de ces politiques. Les résultats de cette étude suggèrent également que ces différentes perceptions pourraient affecter les collaborations intersectorielles influençant ainsi le développement et l'efficacité de ces politiques. Enfin, à partir des données empiriques issues des études 3 et 4, ainsi que d'éléments théoriques des sciences politiques, un cadre conceptuel a été développé afin de mieux comprendre l'ensemble du processus de développement des politiques locales de promotion de la santé par l'activité physique (étude 5). L'ensemble des résultats de ce travail doctoral permet ainsi de mieux appréhender les facteurs qui influencent ou qui conditionnent le développement de politiques locales de promotion de la santé par l'activité physique.

Coastal ecosystems are highly vulnerable to alteration of their physical, chemical and biological characteristics (marine intrusion, acidification of marine environments, changes in ecosystems, evolution and artificialization of the coastline, etc.).In contact with heavily populated areas, these environments are often the receptacle of a lot of chemical and biological pollution sources that significantly diminish their resilience. In this context of accelerated evolution and degradation of these areas important for food security of many populations around the world, it is necessary to better identify the factors of pressure and understand, at different scales of observation, their effects and impacts on the biodiversity and on the socio-eco-systems, in order to determine the degree of vulnerability of these coastal ecosystems and the risks they face. A transdisciplinary and integrated approach is required to prevent risks. Within this framework, operational coastal oceanography occupies an important place but also the implementation of a true socio-eco-system approach in order to set up an environmentally friendly development.
