L'existence potentielle d'un sous-groupe d'enfants avec autisme caractérisés par des troubles du langage semblables à ceux trouvés dans la dysphasie est également évoquée. Les questions partielles (-Qu) racines en français permettent une grande variété de structures qui se différencient par le degré de leur complexité morphosyntaxique. Il a été trouvé que les enfants avec dysphasie utilisent bien plus fréquemment les constructions-Qu les plus simples et évitent celles qui sont les plus complexes, se distinguant ainsi des enfants ordinaires du même âge. Qu'en est-il chez les enfants avec autisme? Ce mémoire s'intéresse à la production des questions-Qu par 12 enfants autistes typiques de 6 à 12 ans. Outre leur intérêt morpho syntaxique, les questions constituent un outil de communication indispensable. Leur étude se révèle donc intéressante tant sur le plan morpho syntaxique que pragmatique, et donc particulièrement pertinente pour l'étude du développement du langage chez les enfants avec autisme. Les performances des enfants avec autisme sont comparées à celles d'enfants avec dysphasie, appariés en âge. La production des questions-Qu est examinée via une épreuve expérimentale de production induite Questions Racines. Ces résultats sont mis en rapport avec d'autres mesures de langage (lexique, phonologie, morpho syntaxe) et avec des mesures non verbales (raisonnement visuo-spatial, mémoire de travail). Cette démarche présente plusieurs intérêts. Le premier est de mesurer les difficultés de production des questions des enfants autistes d'un point de vue morpho syntaxique et pragmatique. Le second est de comparer leurs productions à celles des dysphasiques, ce qui pourrait constituer une aide au diagnostic différentiel et/ou à l'identification du sous-type d'autisme. Enfin, l'intérêt pratique de cette étude réside dans l'analyse de l'utilisation d'une épreuve de production induite avec une population autistique.

These robots have become an increasingly important tool in EOD work, enabling people to work at safer distances in many dangerous situations. Based on exploratory research investigating interactions between EOD personnel and the robots they use, this study richly describes the nuances of these reciprocal influences, especially those related to operator emotion associated with the robots. In particular, this book examines the activities, processes and contexts that influence or constrain everyday EOD human-robot interactions, what human factors are shaping the (robotic) technology and how people and culture are being changed by using it. The findings from this research have implications for future personnel training, and the refinement of robot design considerations for many fields that rely on critical small group communication and decision-making skills.
