Book Private Placement Profits

Download or read book Private Placement Profits written by Arnold Villeneuve and published by PONC Publishing . This book was released on 2021-08-05 with total page 263 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Until recently, investing in an early-stage company was the purview of the Rich, Famous, and Well Connected. For the “average retail investor” like you and me, that door was shut. We had to wait for the IPO. And after the company went public and traded on a regulated exchange, the “average retail investor” could not participate in the company’s future efforts to raise more money and receive the potential benefits from it unless, well, you know the rest of the sentence! In this book I document my journey to open that door. I’ll share my research that shows how you can participate in these opportunities with only a minimal initial investment. I will explain how you can successfully participate in a Private Placement Subscription Offer where you can recoup your initial investment, and as a bonus, get the same “Free Shares” previously limited to the Rich, Famous and Well Connected.

Book Project Financing Financial Instruments And Risk Management

Download or read book Project Financing Financial Instruments And Risk Management written by Carmel De Nahlik and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2021-05-05 with total page 489 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book describes the different tools and techniques available to anyone who is engaged in providing funding or advice to a project. Project finance is ultimately about applying three basic principles to a funding situation and from these three, all the other ideas flow including contracts. First, there needs to be a cash flow coming from the project that is capable of being captured by finance providers. Second, there needs to be a group of assets that can be segregated and contained by making sure they cannot be taken away by other parties and thirdly there needs to be a risk envelope that is well understood and managed dynamically during the project's life. To do this, a network of contracts must exist to support the rights of the different stakeholders and their legal claims on the project. In this book the authors examine all of these aspects and provide some examples/mini-cases of project structures and approaches. The book begins and ends with a longer case study of two projects that were standalone examples of project financing and controversial for different reasons at the time of their fundraising.Bundle Set: Project Financing (Analyzing and Structuring Projects & Financial Instruments and Risk Management)

Download or read book Private Placement Profits written by Arnold Villeneuve and published by Ponc Publishing. This book was released on 2021-09-12 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Until very recently, investing in an early-stage company or project was only the purview of the Rich, Famous, and Well Connected. The "average investor" was left totally out of the game, but technology has changed all that for the better. Where there are great risks, there are potentially great rewards, yes, but there are also, well, great risks. So why do the Rich, Famous, and Well Connected participate in Private Placements to the degree that they do? Why is it that the "average investor" has not been able to participate? How can the "average investor" participate in these opportunities with a small amount of money to invest? How can the "average investor" participate successfully to recoup their initial investment as quickly as possible while still profiting from "Free Shares" as the Rich, Famous, and Well-Connected do? This book hopes to shed some light on these questions and more. This fact-the fact that Private Placements have been the preserve of the Rich, Famous, and Well Connected-is well known by people that participate in the system, of course. So to sum that up, I provide two sections of a really informative document on the subject of Private Placements, what they are, and how they are used from a 2019 report that is referenced in the book. Research Compilation: Through a very carefully controlled, discreet program developed after World War II, and improved by former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Managed Buy/Sell programs have raised hundreds of billions of dollars for projects around the world. Project funding is the reason for the existence of this system, and it is for those who are fortunate enough to be in a financial capacity to participate on a very large level. It concludes with: Conclusion: Obviously, it would not be a good idea to reveal everything regarding this type of trading in this writing, or on any other public conference or forum. This kind of trading can only continue because it is unknown to the public and traditional clients. The professionals in this business must be extremely cautious when it comes to sharing information. This book is about my journey into the world of Private Placements in publicly traded companies. My passion to write the book came from my personal experiences in discovering, researching, investing, and profiting in private placement investments of publicly traded companies. This is the story I want to share with you. In the book, I will explain what private placements are, where to find them, how to research the companies offering them, how to subscribe to participate in an offer, as well as a short-term and long-term strategy towards profiting from Free Shares, and maybe even a Keeper!

Book Private Placement of Public Equity in China

Download or read book Private Placement of Public Equity in China written by Pengcheng Song and published by Springer Science & Business. This book was released on 2014-04-21 with total page 91 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: By retrieving entries from the financial-data vendor Wind and collecting relevant data from private placement statements, the author builds a proprietary database and studies five aspects of private placement in China. He examines which listed firms are more likely to choose private placement over SEO in refinancing; he looks into the controlling shareholder’s decision on whether or not to purchase privately placed shares; he investigates how the offer discount is determined; he calculates announcement periods for abnormal returns on private placements. Where the abnormal return is significantly positive, he documents positive long-run abnormal return on private offerings and evidence supporting the under-reaction hypothesis. Finally, he concludes that the largest shareholders tunnel by means of excess discounts from which they benefit but which is harmful to other shareholders.
