Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: src="http: //www.youtube.com/v/WCj_wojf4SQ&rel=0" /> Many people are tormented by a lack of genuine Christian assurance, simply because of theological and practical misunderstandings. Woodrow W. Whidden II addresses common questions and misunderstandings as he explores the Seventh-day Adventist doctrines of grace, law, salvation, judgment, and final events. His findings reveal biblical teachings that will inspire a deep, refreshing sense of the assurance of salvation as he explores such issues as: How can believers know with certainty that they are saved? Does the Bible teach a cosmic, pre-Advent investigative judgment based on works? Who will survive the latter rain, the close of probation, and the time of trouble? What do believers do with failure, backsliding, and the fear of judgment? Are Ellen G. White's writings a help or a stumbling block when understanding salvation? This powerful and comprehensive book will help believers become assured and balanced Christians, able to understand and explain the biblical teachings on judgment and assurance.

Book The Judgement of Jesus the Acquittal

Download or read book The Judgement of Jesus the Acquittal written by James Robinson and published by . This book was released on 2011-08 with total page 88 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hebrews 9.27-28 says, 'And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment, so Christ [Messiah] was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear a second time without sin unto salvation.' Now, after reading the title, 'The Judgment of Jesus = the Acquittal, ' a Christian may say, 'Hey, Jesus was the Son of God; He did not need any kind of Acquittal;' and, from my little dealings with some Jewish brethren, Jesus is considered to have been a Prophet who suffered a horrible death; and was an accursed prophet. Now, if the Jewish brethren are right, Jesus would need from God, an Acquittal. To address the two different opinions, let's refer to the writings of Paul, the Apostle in Galatians 3.13. He writes, "Christ [Messiah] has redeemed us from the curse of the law [Torah], having become a curse for us, for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree" [Deut. 21.23]. Therefore, if what the Apostle Paul says is true--that Christ became a curse for us--then Jesus would need from God an acquittal, because to be cursed equals damnation. According to 2 Peter 1:20-21, it says, "knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." Therefore, by using the Word of God, and some Prophets' lives as examples, I will attempt to bring to light, through this book, the revelation of this vision: 1) Jesus, the anointed of God, 2) His judgment after death [according to Hebrews 9:27]; and 3) His ultimate Acquittal.

Book Judgment Day Of The Lord

Download or read book Judgment Day Of The Lord written by Evangelist T. C. Wanyanwu and published by XinXii. This book was released on 2021-04-19 with total page 91 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is written as the last warning to unbelievers and for the believers to equip, arm and prepare them toward the Judgment day of the Lord. Providing succinct and thorough exposition of the reality of End Times which shouldn’t arouse panic or fear in us rather encourage, strengthen and restore our hope in the Lord. The Lord of hosts has purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth (Isaiah 23:9). “We must all (Christian, Islam, Atheist, Buddhist, Hindu, Esotericist, Confucianist, Judaist, Sikhist, Traditionalist, Rastafarianist and others), appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10). THROUGH THIS BOOK, YOU GAIN: ● Deep relationship with the Judge of all mankind. ● Familiarity with God’s redemption plan through Jesus Christ. ● Understanding of the tricks of the devil who is working tirelessly to ensnare people to hell since his deportation to earth and how to escape his satanic plots. ● Experience from the author’s family ordeal and lessons captured in chapter-5. ● Knowledge of the end-time apocalypse. ● Strong relationship and a personal encounter with Jesus which guarantees safe route to paradise. “Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins” (Isaiah 58:1). Behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; and the earth will reveal her bloodshed and will no longer cover her dead..... For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh and the slain of the Lord shall be many (Isaiah 26:21; 66:16). The Scripture reveals that everyone must answer to the judgment of God by which moral acts are encouraged and evil deeds are condemned. The Day of Judgment is the determination of whether you lived a life of righteousness or wickedness to be spared or doomed, taken or condemned. “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil” (Eccl 12:14). Judgment day of the Lord is the final judgment. It is the very last thing that happens before God destroys the old heaven and old earth, which are corrupt on account of sin. Before He creates His new heaven and new earth, He has to do away with anything that could bring sin into the new creation. This book has 10 Chapters in total If you don't know whom the Lord Jesus Christ really is, you cannot believe Him, if you don't believe Him, you cannot accept Him, if you don't accept Him, you cannot be His own, if you're not His own, you will face His judgment, if you face His judgment, you cannot escape torments, punishments, torture, and eternal death! This book is highly recommendable for every individual especially anyone conscious of Life-After-Death. It is an indispensable material for all religious teachers, students and anyone with the fear of God!

Book On the Inspiration of Scripture

Download or read book On the Inspiration of Scripture written by Bl John Henry Newman and published by . This book was released on 2014-05-01 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Bl. John Henry Newman wrote this pair of essays at a time when historical-critical biblical research was beginning to exert its powerful influence on Scriptural studies. He presents his position on what the Councils of Trent and Vatican I require all Catholics to believe about Scripture, and explores areas where he sees room for Catholics to differ in their viewpoints. Faced with the problem of the apparently limited scope of inspiration to "matters of faith and morals" Newman shows how teachings on faith and morals pervade the whole of Scripture, taking in account historical statements and incidental remarks by the Bible's human writers. Newman's essays, which contributed to the theological grounding on which the teachings of Vatican II and the modern Magisterium stand, are essential reading for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the Scriptural doctrine of the Church, and to engage faithfully and fruitfully with modern methods of Biblical criticism.

The Christian view of judgment means that history moves to a goal. . . . Judgment protects the idea of the triumph of God and of good. . . . Judgment means that in the end God's will will be erfectively done. --from chapter 4

The task appointed to the author is difficult: in the accomplishment whereof he will be guided not so much by reason and argument as by authority, especially that of the Nicene Council.
