Ce traitement est associé à une éducation thérapeutique, des règles hygiénodiététiques et des conseils précieux à donner pour prendre en charge l'asthme de l'enfant dans sa globalité. Le pharmacien joue un rôle important dans cette prise en charge. Une bonne prise en charge de l'asthme de l'enfant permet de contrôler sa pathologie et prévenir l'apparition de pathologie chronique comme la Bronchopneumopathie Chronique Obstructive (BPCO).
