They were the parents of seven children, two of which died in infancy. Jacob died 18 Mar 1876. She married Thomas Ellis 20 Jan 1885 in New Plymouth, New Zealand. He was born in 1815 in Liverpool, England. He died 14 Nov 1900. She died 5 Mar 1910.

She met William Price of Bucknell in the county of Shropshire and they were married 21 June 1824. Mary was converted to Mormonism and baptized in 1840. Her husband died in 1853. Mary became ill and was stricken with a paralysis and was unable to talk to her family. The family had been planning on coming to America and the family gave up their plans to come. In some way, Mary made it known to them that they were to continue the preparations and go to America. She was paralyzed as they crossed the ocean on the ship called Samuel Curling and as they crossed the plains with the Milo Andrus Company. They arrived in Salt Lake City on 24 September 1856. She died in 1868 and is in the Alpine Cemetery.
