Book excerpt: This book was written to do 2 things for us. First to show how what is commonly called the Lord's prayer given by our Messiah Yeshua, was a model deeply rooted in the Messiah's Jewish heritage. For it was without a doubt an abbreviated version of the Jewish prayer known as the Amidah. Secondly I give the believer in Yeshua a prayer Siddur for praying the Amidah, but with the inclusion of New Covenant Scriptures which reveals Messsiah Yeshua throughout. The reader finds out very quickly that Messiah is the answer to every petition, and the Glory of every praise within the standing prayer. One will also see the parts of the Amidah that are no longer required since Messiah's Sacrifice. Finally, we see the exclusion of the later added nineteeth blessing which was used as a curse against follwers of Yeshua.

Book Romance of the Hebrew Calendar

Download or read book Romance of the Hebrew Calendar written by Raphael Ben Levi and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2013-02-28 with total page 767 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the introduction to 'Romance of the Hebrew Calendar,' author Raphael Ben Levi writes, "This book is about relationships, I make no apologies for it. When everything has been said and done, what are we left with that endures? Relationships, borne out of agape love. This is what the deepest and most authentic relationships are composed of from beginning to end." This absorbing and ground breaking book will inspire readers to develop a deeper relationship with God, and bring restoration to those who are spiritually broken. According to the author, there is a special heartbeat that pulsates through the veins of the biblical year which has helped shape the identity of the Jewish people. Written from a Jewish messianic perspective, 'Romance of the Hebrew Calendar' contains inspirational and fresh insights that are highly engaging and provocative. The main theme is complemented by a rich compendium of poignant stories and devotions drawn from Jewish tradition, historical archives and firsthand accounts. The Jewish festivals are lovingly presented to demonstrate a unified message of redemption. The months of the Hebrew calendar are accompanied by individual sections relating to the constellation connected to each tribe as represented by their banner or flag. The Hebrew word 'mazal,' from the plural word 'mazzaroth' is associated with the patterns of stars in the sky, and we find various biblical references to it such as in the Book of Job. In addition, 'Romance of the Hebrew Calendar,' contains individual sections for each chapter relating to the jewels of the high priest's ephod, their colours and their inherent connection with the twelve tribes of Israel. The combined messages contained within the biblical feasts, the mazzaroth and the jewels of the high priest's ephod, converge to form a unified declaration of God's love, revealed in Yeshua Ha Meshiach that will capture your imagination and attention. This book is beautifully written, easy to read and contains many insights and revelations that are interwoven and presented to make it a treasure to adorn every bookshelf.

Download or read book Derech Yeshua written by Daniel Nessim and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2020-04-08 with total page 130 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "How does a Jewish person in the 21st century explore the question of whether Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah of Israel? And if a Jew has an epiphany through a dream or experience that Yeshua is the Son of God, what next? What are the first steps to follow Him who said, "Follow me"? In Derech Yeshua, Daniel Nessim provides responsible answers to these questions from the Hebrew Scriptures and New Testament, and in a way that affirm unequivocally that Jews who embrace Yeshua as the Son of David, the Moshiach of Israel, are called by God to remain Jews and not leave behind their Judaism. This book is a must-read for all fellow members of the tribe who want to know more about Jesus." --David Rudolph, PhD, Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies, The King's University "This is an excellent contribution to the work of communicating the Good News of Messiah to our people. I appreciated the organization of the writing -- logical and easily understood. I enjoyed Daniel's writing style -- compassionate and compelling. The content is truly 'evidence that demands a verdict' from our community to the greater Jewish community." --Sam Nadler, President, Word of Messiah Ministries "I highly recommend this informative, thoughtful and well-organized approach to Jewish evangelism and the discipleship of Jewish people who come to faith in Yeshua. Daniel Nessim has tremendous personal experience in the field of Jewish missions and this experience shows throughout Derech Yeshua. I pray that many Jewish people will find themselves traveling further down the path towards a personal relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through the Messiah Jesus after reading this excellent book. I also highly recommend this volume as a toll to be used by non-Jewish believers who want to share the good news with Jewish friends and to help them grow in the lord." --Mitch Glaser, President, Chosen People Ministries

Book The Restoration Process in Messiah Yeshua

Download or read book The Restoration Process in Messiah Yeshua written by Rabbin Deborah Brandt and published by . This book was released on 2017-11-30 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I put this study together as part of our discipleship series for our Congregation and for those who are new believers and need to get free from past strongholds and also for those who are seasoned believers but are still struggling with issues in their lives.I have spent years studying on how to get free from Generational Curses, and the Power of the repentance and the Mikveh process in cleansing us from the sins that so easily beset us.When I was born again over 43 years ago, my life drastically changed, I was a new creation in Messiah Yeshua and loved Him with all of my heart. Yet I struggled with emotional issues, insecurities, fears and other issues due to my past life of sin and also generational curses that were at work, but I had no idea how to get free.I believe that understanding how to get free from bondage of the past for new believers is essential in living a victorious life in Messiah Yeshua.Of course, I owe a lot to the man, who I believe was the "Father" of teaching how to get free from Generational Curses, the late Derrick Prince, who is now with Messiah Yeshua. This study is a result of years of notes and studies regarding Generational Curses and getting free from emotional bondages that Yeshua already paid the price for. He has given us the Key, so we do not have to stay in jail any longer! Whom the Son has set free, is free in deed!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book offers a new look at Cornelius' and Peter's prayers that opened the door to fellowship between Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Jesus. Standing With Israel explains the events of Acts 10 in the context of the Amidah, the Standing Prayer prayed three times daily by observant Jews. An in-depth study of the prophetic nature of the prayer demonstrates how the Judges of Israel and the infirm woman that Yeshua healed explain the resurrection of Messianic Judaism, growing Christian interest in their Hebraic roots, as well as the "spirit-filled" movements of the last century. Jewish and non-Jewish believers alike are urged to take hold of the unifying prayer to build a house of prayer for all nations. This second edition includes study questions for each chapter, which makes it an excellent resource for Bible study groups looking for a beginner introduction to ancient Jewish prayer.

Book First Century Christians in Twenty First Century Africa

Download or read book First Century Christians in Twenty First Century Africa written by Nathan P. Devir and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2022-02-28 with total page 256 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Millions of African Christians who consider themselves genealogical descendants of one of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel—in other words, Jewish by ethnicity, but Christian in terms of faith—are increasingly choosing a religious affiliation that honors both of these identities. Their choice: Messianic Judaism. Messianic adherents emulate the Christians of the first century, observing the Jewish commandments while also affirming the salvational grace of Yeshua (Jesus). As the first comparative ethnography of such "fulfilled Jews" on the African continent, this book presents case studies that will enrich our understanding of one of global Christianity’s most overlooked iterations.
