If I've captured a feather, I consider myself much improved. If I can manage to put down the thought, I can usually, over the next weeks fill in the blanks. The thing is like a lump of mud on a potter's wheel. Sometimes I can never shape anything of interest out of it. Once in a while it comes out looking pretty good. Other times, I have to throw the marred lump on the potsherd heap. Very discouraging. I'd like to be a poet, but is very demanding. Anyway, I love to fool around with words. I hope you enjoy reading what I've done.
