It was suggested that a properly designed and managed mobile home park can provide a satisfactory location for the placement of mobile homes. The small down payment and low monthly payments associated with purchasing a mobile home, along with the inherent mobility of mobile home living, render it an appealing form of housing. After considering the desired esthetic [sic] image of the mobile home park, safety and convenience of park occupants, and the social and economic considerations of mobile home park location and development, appropriate design criteria were recommended. Corresponding park management control procedures were then suggested to insure that the mobile home park is properly controlled and maintained"--Abstract, leaf ii.
