Download or read book True Devotion To Jesus In The Most Blessed Sacrament written by Peter D Lee and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2024-04-12 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The devotion to the Most Blessed Sacrament is a devotion of Paradise because it is the devotion which the Angels and Saints of Heaven also have." -Fr. Stephano Manelli Devotion to the Most Blessed Sacrament is devotion to the Body of Our Lord which was bruised, scourged, and crucified so that we may have the forgiveness of sins. It is equally devotion to the Blood of Our Lord which was shed so that we may be washed clean. Eucharistic devotion unites us with the Soul of Christ, which sanctifies us at every moment. It is also devotion to the Divinity of Our Lord, to which Christ unites himself our humanity so that we might have access to God's Divine Life. This book, "True Devotion to Jesus in The Most Blessed Sacrament," is to help us grow in the knowledge and love of God and in appreciation for what He has done for us. This book is designed to be prayed in front of the Blessed Sacrament each day over the course of 9 days (known as a Novena), and the readers of this powerful book cannot help but grow closer to Our Lord Jesus Christ. "Here, then, is our heaven on earth--the Most Blessed Sacrament." - St. Alphonsus Liguori "True Devotion to Jesus in The Most Blessed Sacrament" provides a wealth of spiritual treasures, including: 9 days of meditations, devotions, reflections, and fervent prayers of love toward Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament. A 10-minute daily devotion to Jesus with "True Devotion To Jesus In The Most Blessed Sacrament," including short prayers of confidence in the enormous power of Our Lord's help. An act of Spiritual Communion for each day, reigniting our love for Our Lord even when we cannot receive His Body and Blood in the Eucharist. "True Devotion To Jesus In The Most Blessed Sacrament" will help you deeply contemplate the love of God through the presence of His own Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. The Blessed Sacrament is the source and summit of the entire Church's life and activities. May the Heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection in all the tabernacles of the world even unto the end of time. This book of Novena is a spiritual book with a beautiful and durable design, making it perfect convenience for constant visits to Our Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist - The Most Blessed Sacrament, and the ideal gift for loved ones desiring to come closer to Christ.

Book Visits to the Most Holy Sacrament and the Blessed Virgin Mary

Download or read book Visits to the Most Holy Sacrament and the Blessed Virgin Mary written by St Alphonsus M Liguori Cssr and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2017-10-16 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Daily Visits/Devotions to the Most Holy Sacrament and the Blessed Virgin Mary set up over a 31 day period for each day of the month. Convenient and easy to do and sure to add to your spiritual life. Be also assured that Jesus Christ finds means to console a soul which remains with a recollected spirit before the Most Blessed Sacrament, far beyond what the world can do with all its feasts and pastimes. Oh, how sweet a joy it is, to remain with faith and tender devotion before an altar, and converse familiarly with Jesus Christ, who is there for the express purpose of listening to and graciously hearing those who pray to Him; to ask His pardon for the displeasures which we have caused Him; to represent our wants to Him, as a friend does to a friend in whom he places all his confidence; to ask Him for His graces, for His love, and for His kingdom; but above all, oh, what a heaven is it there to remain making acts of love towards that Lord who is on the very altar, praying to the Eternal Father for us, and is there burning with love for us; since indeed that love it is which detains Him there, thus hidden and unknown, and when He is even despised by ungrateful souls! But why should we say more? "Taste and see". As in all the following visits to the Most Blessed Sacrament a spiritual communion is recommended, it will be well to explain what it is, and the great advantages which result from its practice. A spiritual communion, according to St. Thomas, consists in an ardent desire to receive Jesus in the most Holy Sacrament, and in lovingly embracing Him as if we had actually received Him. How pleasing these spiritual communions are to God, and the many graces which He bestows through their means, was manifested by our Lord Himself to Sister Paula Maresca, the foundress of the convent of St Catherine of Sienna in Naples, when (as it is related in her life) He showed her two precious vessels, the one of gold, the other of silver; He then told her that in the gold vessel He preserved her sacramental communions, and in the silver one her spiritual communions. He also told Blessed Jane of the Cross, that each time that she communicated spiritually, she received a grace of the same kind as the one which she received when she really communicated. Above all, it will suffice us to know that the holy Council of Trent greatly praises spiritual communions, and encourages the faithful to their practice.

Book excerpt: Prayers for Novenas compiles prayers suitable for use in novenas from traditional Catholic sources, and contains the following: 25 Novena Prayers to Jesus, in Honor of the Blessed Virgin, and in Honor of Saints 11 Litanies, including five of the official litanies of the Church 7 Consecrations to Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary 5 Devotions suitable for use in novenas Additional prayers to Mary and the Saints What this Book Is and Is Not Prayers for Novenas is not a compilation of specific novenas popular in the Church today. Rather, it is a return to the roots of the novena tradition, which simply consists in nine days of devout prayer for a certain (often urgent) intention. The prayers inside this book are intended as tools to enable you to pray your own novenas - for whatever intentions you may have, and with whatever time your schedule allows. As such, all the prayers inside - beyond the explicit novena prayers - are suitable for use in novenas or as novenas in themselves. Prayers for Novenas is a book that will help you to pray more novenas. It will help develop skill in the language of prayer and inform the underlying theology of prayer. All of the prayers chosen come from traditional sources published in the 19th and early 20th centuries bearing the Imprimatur (nb. this book itself does not). These prayers and devotions range from the very short to offices meant to be prayed at each of the liturgical hours. The specific novena prayers, consecrations, and devotions included are: Prayers for Novenas to Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and Mary Novena Prayer in Honor of the Holy Name of Jesus Prayer for a Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Novena Prayer of Blessed Margaret Mary [to the Heart of Jesus] Novena Prayer in Honor of the Blessed Sacrament Act of Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Novena Prayer for Easter Novena Prayer to the Holy Ghost in Preparation of Pentecost Eleven Novenas in Honor of Our Lady & a Novena in Honor of the Blessed Virgin for any Festival and for Any Special Occasion Novena in Honor of the Immaculate Conception Novena Prayer in Honor of the Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Novena Prayer to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Prayers for Novenas in Honor of the Saints Novena Prayers in Honor of St. Joseph Novena to St. Benedict, Abbot Novena to St. Catherine of Siena Novena to St. Clara Novena to St. Francis of Assisi Novena Prayer to St. Francis de Sales Novena of Grace to St. Francis Xavier Novena Prayer to the Guardian Angels Novena to St. Ignatius Loyola Novena to St. Jane Frances de Chantal Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through St. Margaret Mary Novena Prayer to Blessed Margaret Mary Prayer for a Novena in Honor of St. Philomena Prayer for a Novena to St. Vincent de Paul Consecrations Consecration of the Family to the Sacred Heart Act of Consecration and Reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus A Short Act of Consecration to Jesus and Mary Act of Consecration to the Holy Spirit Act of Consecration and Reparation to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Prayer and Consecration to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Short Dedication to Mary Devotions Suitable for Novenas Beads of the Sacred Heart Little Office of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Little Office of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Little Office of the Immaculate Conception Psalter of Jesus Please use the "Look Inside" feature to see the full table of contents!
