JOSEPH ANGUS.1 I Need not say of what importance it must be to consider what has been so lately said on the other side of our question by one so 'well worthy of being heard.2 I must confine myself, however, to what may fairly be regarded as his strongest points. This, I answer, might be true enough, without at all involving endless suffering.
