Book Performance of a Dynamically Compensated Load Cell Force Measurement System

Download or read book Performance of a Dynamically Compensated Load Cell Force Measurement System written by F. L. Crosswy and published by . This book was released on 1968 with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The report presents a theoretical description and an experimental evaluation of a dynamically compensated load cell force measurement system. Electronic compensation techniques were used to eliminate load cell signal distortions caused by large amplitude load cell base (thrust butt) motions and other structural transient responses of the force measurement device. The force measurement device was subjected to severe impact forces up to 4600 lb peak force with force rise times of 300 microsec and total force durations of 900 microsec. Load cell base motions caused by these impact forces approached 0.25 in., and the load cell signal was badly distorted. However, application of the compensation techniques eliminated these distortions, and dynamic force measurements could then be made regardless of load cell base motion and the structural response of the rest of the force measurement device. Book Dynamic Compensation and Force Calibration Techniques for a Static and Dynamic Thrust Measurement System

Download or read book Dynamic Compensation and Force Calibration Techniques for a Static and Dynamic Thrust Measurement System written by F. L. Crosswy and published by . This book was released on 1968 with total page 48 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An electrodynamic actuator and a solenoid-driven impact device were used separately for dynamic force excitation of an experimental thrust stand. Electronic compensation techniques were used to eliminate load cell signal distortions caused by the dynamic-force-induced transient response characteristics of the thrust stand structure. It was determined that proper compensation circuit adjustments could be made when using either the electronically and mechanically simple impact device or the more complex actuator. For the conditions of this particular study, identical dynamic force measurement accuracies wer e possible following either of two procedures, (1) dynamic time domain force calibration with the electrodynamic actuator or (2) dynamic compensation adjustments with dynamic force excitation furnished by the impact device followed by a static deadweight force calibration. Book Solution Models based on Symmetric and Asymmetric Information

Download or read book Solution Models based on Symmetric and Asymmetric Information written by Edmundas Kazimieras Zavadskas and published by MDPI. This book was released on 2019-06-05 with total page 202 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This Special Issue covers symmetry and asymmetry phenomena occurring in real-life problems. We invited authors to submit their theoretical or experimental research presenting engineering and economic problem solution models dealing with the symmetry or asymmetry of different types of information. The issue gained interest in the research community and received many submissions. After rigorous scientific evaluation by editors and reviewers, nine papers were accepted and published. The authors proposed different MADM and MODM solution models as integrated tools to find a balance between the components of sustainable global development, to find a symmetry axis concerning goals, risks, and constraints to cope with the complicated problems. Most approaches suggested decision models under uncertainty, combining the usual decision-making methods with interval-valued fuzzy or rough sets theory, also Z numbers. The application fields of the proposed models involved both problems of technological sciences and social sciences. The papers cover three essential areas: engineering, economy, and management. We hope that a summary of the Special Issue as provided here will encourage a detailed analysis of the papers included in the Printed Edition.
