Book Spreading the Word of God

Download or read book Spreading the Word of God written by Tiffany T. Guay and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2020-07-07 with total page 43 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Pssst...God has something to share with you. Open your eyes a little bigger now. Would you like a better body? How about some optimal health? You may need to open your mind and your heart a little more as well. Take a deep breath. Can you feel it? God is communicating with you right now. He wants to give you knowledge. The Bible is filled with scriptures. Some are stories, some are songs to bring you joy and hope, some are parables meant to convey his religious message, and some are instructions for our lives to be led with moral character. Do you dare to know the true? Knowledge will make a difference in your life, your family's life, and your friends' lives. Then you will know the truth, and the true will set you free (John 8:32). How good will you feel when you can understand the mystery ingredients in vaccines. Vaccines never freely share their ingredients with you; they are mysterious. We are told that they are safe. But are they? And what are they? And where do they come from? And what do they do to our bodies? These ingredients are contaminated with toxic chemicals that our bodies were never meant to be injected with. Some folks say vaccines are necessary. Well, I am here to tell you that God has already made you uniquely perfect. We do not need these man made additives to protect us. Our bodies are created by God. He made us resilient. He made us capable of healing ourselves. He made us in his image. The power is within us, our minds, and bodies. We are temples for the Holy Spirit to dwell in. If you would like to take hold of your very own precious life and stop being a robot that is told what to do in the name of science, well, this book is for you. We are not to be science experiments. Science and faith can go hand in hand. Research proves outcomes. God is the almighty physician. Let his word be our prescription for what ails us. In this book, you will find every vaccine currently being offered and its ingredients listed scientifically and defined in plain English. Not only that, but you will also have a chance to surf the Bible and read scripture in its full content. I have paired biblical reference and scientific research to show that there is evidence in the Bible that warrants a need for religious exemption from immunizations to protect ourselves in a holy manner. Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people (Matthew 4:23).

Book Religious Exemptions to the COVID 19 Vaccine

Download or read book Religious Exemptions to the COVID 19 Vaccine written by Alicia Lisier and published by . This book was released on 2021 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Vaccine hesitancy is not a new concern, but this public health issue has garnered a lot of attention in the media lately as poor COVID-19 vaccination rates have hindered our return to pre-pandemic "normal" times. In the United States, only 60 percent of the nation's population is fully vaccinated despite the vaccine being widely available. Many unvaccinated individuals are hesitant to receive the COVID-19 vaccine due to various factors, including religious and cultural reasons, concerns regarding vaccine safety, and mistrust of government and public health officials. The following paper, however, focuses on religious-based vaccine hesitancy, which refers to the refusal or delay in acceptance of a vaccine due to religious beliefs or values. Religious exemptions and ethical concerns surrounding current vaccine promotion tactics will be considred in an effort to address the question: How should we, as a society, ethically respond to the issue of vaccine hesitancy, specifically in regards to religious concerns? Current methods aimed at increasing vaccinations rates, such as incentives and mandates, have instigated pushback from some of the general public, and this project hopes to assess what can be done to promote vaccine uptake in a more ethical and considerate manner. A philosophical discussion of the challenges posed by the public health concern of vaccine hesitancy, with an incorporation of Kantian ethics, will serve to help us evaluate how we ought to promote COVID-19 vaccine acceptance among the religiously hesitant.

Download or read book Ageless Nation written by Michael G. Zey and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2017-07-05 with total page 369 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this intriguing volume, futurist and author Michael G. Zey imagines a time in which technology has stretched human life spans to four hundred years or more. Genetic engineering, cloning, and stem-cell technology will eradicate diseases and allow for nanoscopic repair and maintenance of the body. "Smart drugs" and caloric restriction programs will largely stop aging and ensure healthy bodies and sharp minds indefinitely.Grounding his speculation in contemporary scientific research, Zey's optimistic vision sees retirement replaced by hiatuses between careers, and leisure time spent in multi-generational homes. Key players in the debate include supporters like Cambridge University scientist Aubrey de Grey, who envisions five-thousand-year life spans, and the radical futurist author Ray Kurzweil, who foresees the merging of humans and computers. Organizations such as the Coalition to Extend Life lobby the government for immortality research funding and find opposition in the President's Council on Bioethics and "deep ecologists" advocating zero-population growth.Criticizing current environmental trends as anti-progress and anti-human, Zey's own solutions include controversial measures like human control of weather, colonization of outer space, and genetically modifying food. He concludes that the eventuality of a modern Fountain of Youth is closer than we think. Zey's predictions about the future are thoughtful and fascinating.

Download or read book Personhood and Health Care written by David C. Thomasma and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-04-17 with total page 441 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: PERSONHOOD AND HEALTH CARE This book arose as a result of a pre-conference devoted to the topic held June 28, 1999 in Paris, France. The pre-conference preceded the Annual Congress of the International Academy ofLaw and Mental Health. Other chapters were solicited after the conference in order to more completely explore the relation of personhood to health care. The pre conference was held in honor of Yves Pelicier who led so many of our French colleagues in medicine, philosophy, and ethics as Christian Herve notes in his Tribute. As health care is aimed at healing persons, it is important to realize how difficult it is to construct a theory of personhood for health care, and thus, a theory of how healing in health care comes about or ought to occur. The book is divided into four parts, Concepts of the Person, Theories of Personhood in Relation to Health Care and Bioethics, Person and Identity, and Personhood and Hs Relations. Each section explores a critical arena in constructing the relation of personhood to health care. Although no exploration ofthis nature can be exhaustive, every effort was made to present both conflicting and complementary views of personhood from within similar and different philosophical and religious traditions. PART ONE: CONCEPTS OF THE PERSON Tracing the origins of the concept of person from antiquity through present day, Jean Delemeau provides an historical sketch of the development of a wide range of meanings.
