Many of the so called "middle class" would never think of themselves as being a part of the poor and impoverished. It's this mischaracterization of poverty that Otis L. Buckley challenges as he carefully delineates true poverty from the veneer of prosperity. After several years of working in financial services, Otis observed much of the so called middle class are living in a blissful sedation of what they define as "doing well." Truth is, when looking at poverty on a global scale, they're "doing well." However, whether it be poverty or prosperity either can become a condition of the heart. As a man thinks in his heart so is he - Proverb 23:7. Payday Proverbs offers practical insight as to how someone living paycheck to paycheck can escape the treadmill of merely getting by and transition themselves to a place of thriving. Each of the 31 Keys (or Chapters) offers another layer of wisdom. This book articulates the integral role of giving and how it becomes the conduit for abundance. For example, Keys 27 and 28 entitled "The Givers Advantage" and "Why Ten Works" both outline the core principles of economic transformation. Jesus Christ called him to ministry in 1981. He is the pastor of a local church in Roanoke, Virginia. He brings a large pool of experience and Bible knowledge to his readers.
