He is deeply sensible of the favorable manner in which the profession have received his Researches on the Pathology of the Brain. _the volume which he now presents to them is intended to answer a similar purpose, namely, to furnish them with a connected series of authentic facts, from which he is aux ious that they should draw their own conclusions.
