Book excerpt: Ben Bova, author of Earth, continues his exploration of the future of a human-settled Solar System with the science fiction action adventure Uranus, the first of his Outer Planets trilogy. On a privately financed orbital habitat above the planet Uranus, political idealism conflicts with pragmatic, and illegal, methods of financing. Add a scientist who has funding to launch a probe deep into Uranus‘s ocean depths to search for signs of life, and you have a three-way struggle for control. Humans can’t live on the gas giants, making instead a life in orbit. Kyle Umber, a religious idealist, has built Haven, a sanctuary above the distant planet Uranus. He invites ”the tired, the sick, the poor“ of Earth to his orbital retreat where men and women can find spiritual peace and refuge from the world. The billionaire who financed Haven, however, has his own designs: beyond the reach of the laws of the inner planets Haven could become the center for an interplanetary web of narcotics, prostitution, even hunting human prey. Meanwhile a scientist has gotten funding from the Inner Planets to drop remote probes into the “oceans” of Uranus, in search of life. He brings money and prestige, but he also brings journalists and government oversight to Haven. And they can’t have that. No matter how hostile or welcoming the environment, mankind has forged a path and found a home. In the far reaches of the solar system, the outer planets—billions of miles from Earth, unknown for millennia—are being settled. Neptune, the ice giant, is swathed in clouds of hydrogen, helium, and methane and circled by rings of rock and dust. Three years ago, Ilona Magyr’s father, Miklos, disappeared while exploring the seas of Neptune. Everyone believes he is dead—crushed, frozen, or boiled alive in Neptune’s turbulent seas. With legendary space explorer Derek Humbolt piloting her ship and planetary scientist Jan Meitner guiding the search, Ilona Magyr knows she will find her father—alive—on Neptune. Her plans are irrevocably altered when she and her team discover the wreckage of an alien ship deep in Neptune’s ocean, a discovery which changes humanity’s understanding of its future...and its past. Book The Flat Earth Trilogy Book of Secrets III

Download or read book The Flat Earth Trilogy Book of Secrets III written by Gregory Lessing Garrett and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2019-12-11 with total page 608 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is crucial to realize that "Outer Space", and all that is purported to exist beyond the known uppermost layer of The Earth's atmosphere, is really an occult metaphor for esoteric spiritual concepts. In essence, Outer Space, with its alleged cosmic events and forces, is merely an occult religion. These cosmic events and forces do not, in fact, exist in the real physical world. Contrary to popular belief, NASA has never seen anything beyond The Firmament, also referred to as "The Van Allen Radiation Belts", any more than George Lucas has. In fact, they BOTH have used Green Screen technologies to achieve the same illusion of Outer Space for the continued amusement and indoctrination of the masses into an occult, Jesuit Vatican designed religion called, "Astrophysics", where Heliocentrism is form of Pagan Sun worship. This book explores all these issues in Enclosed Cosmology, and more, in great dept

Book excerpt: #1 New York Times Bestseller Oprah's Book Club Selection The “extraordinary . . . monumental masterpiece” (Booklist) that changed the course of Ken Follett’s already phenomenal career—and begins where its prequel, The Evening and the Morning, ended. “Follett risks all and comes out a clear winner,” extolled Publishers Weekly on the release of The Pillars of the Earth. A departure for the bestselling thriller writer, the historical epic stunned readers and critics alike with its ambitious scope and gripping humanity. Today, it stands as a testament to Follett’s unassailable command of the written word and to his universal appeal. The Pillars of the Earth tells the story of Philip, prior of Kingsbridge, a devout and resourceful monk driven to build the greatest Gothic cathedral the world has known . . . of Tom, the mason who becomes his architect—a man divided in his soul . . . of the beautiful, elusive Lady Aliena, haunted by a secret shame . . . and of a struggle between good and evil that will turn church against state and brother against brother. A spellbinding epic tale of ambition, anarchy, and absolute power set against the sprawling medieval canvas of twelfth-century England, this is Ken Follett’s historical masterpiece.

Book The Flat Earth Trilogy Book of Secrets I

Download or read book The Flat Earth Trilogy Book of Secrets I written by Gregory Lessing Garrett and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2018-12-29 with total page 566 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you have even read a book by this author, Gregory Lessing Garrett, you will know what to expect in this third book release of his: A tour de force of compelling research, empirical evidence, razor-sharp wit, and argumentation and proofs that would put Aristotle and Socrates to shame. This is that type of book, as well. If you have it in your hands, you have hit the motherload of Earth Topology and the Holy Grail of Earth and Man's deepest secrets. Essentially, this book is an Anthology of Gregory Lessing Garrett's writings and others on the topic of Flat Earth Plane Cosmology of all types, including Enclosed Earth, Hollow Earth, Concave Earth, Infinite Plane Earth, and The Enochian Earth Model, etc. Mr. Garrett has assembled the best research on the general idea of Flat Plane Earth possible and posits various explanations, theories, observations, conjectures, and empirical facts regarding this topic. This book is book one of The Flat Earth Trilogy Book of Secrets series he is writing to encompass the full regalia of core themes of Flat Earth, as well as going into great detail into various theories otherwise not explored within the traditional cannons of Flat Earth pedagogy. Mr. Garrett's hope is that the ideas expounded in this informative and eloquently written Flat Earth Trilogy series will provide compelling justifications for the claim that no curvature can be found on the Earth, which points to the empirical conclusion that we live on a plane and not a spinning ball in science fiction outer space. The details regarding the possible topography of the Earth are discussed in great depth in this book, but ultimately, the absolute true topography of the Earth is still under investigation. The author has his preferences of course, but in laying out as much information and theoretical material as possible pertaining to the topic of Flat Earth, he would hope that the reader would draw his/her own conclusions and create a uniquely personal geographical preference. As Mr. Garrett has mentioned in other books he has written, it is never any ONE data point that proves the validity or non-validity of a theory like Flat Earth or any other theory. Rather, it is the summation of myriads of data points that point to the high plausibility of such a theory as an almost certainty, which is as good as science ever gets, ultimately. For instance, the world used to subscribe to a Flat Plane Model, then it was a Geocentric Sphere Model, and then a Heliocentric Sphere Model, and now it is a Flat Plane Model, again. The data points amassed to support the Flat Plane Model of the Earth, though the details of that model are still being investigated by millions of people even as you read this, suggest a wide array of possible Earth topologies, including models such as Enclosed Cosmology, Hollow Earth Cosmology, Geo-Stationary Earth Cosmology, Infinite Plane Earth Cosmology, etc. Lastly, Mr. Garret proposes with compelling evidence that The Vatican Jesuit Priesthood has done all they can to baffle and confound the world with extraneous and misleading mathematics to create convoluted and superfluous details to hide the true topography of the Earth, for reasons Mr. Garrett examines in this book. The is an encyclopedic book, worth ten times its price, and sure to become a classic tome within the chronicles of Earth Topology and empirical science.
