Sister Agnes Sasagawa was left in charge of keeping an eye on the convent after the Sisters all departed to run errands. Sister Agnes had a valuable chance here. She was entrusted with a duty, which she handled seriously. It was okay to leave Sister Agnes alone there, though, as the other Sisters hadn't anticipated any important decision-making activities.
