Book excerpt: Every culture has its own mythology to explain such cosmic enigmas as creation, God, the soul, and the afterlife. In this book, Kurt Leland integrates mythology and personal experience to provide insight into humankind's greatest mysteries. In Otherwhere - Leland's term for nonphysical reality - he recognizes that the universe is made of energy, and that the translation of this energy into images is subject to both individual and cultural interpretation. Reflecting upon his otherworldly travels, Leland looks for different cultural expressions of the same figures and concepts he encountered. His translation tables are a model of the many different ways in which human beings perceive the spiritual worlds.
Download or read book My Super Lotto 3 4 and 5 written by Yung Lei II and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2018-03-01 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My Super Lotto 345 book is an original, intellectual and creative work about pick 3, 4 and 5 lotteries and how they must be played in order to win, with any degree of success. It is based upon a firm foundation of education, science, systems and experience. Once you have mastered My Super Lotto 345 lottery games, you are sufficiently prepared to play pick 3, 4 and 5 games offered by all states; because it runs parallel to the state-sponsored lotteries and off a comparable platform, but significantly expanded. MSL345 is a unique, comprehensive, integrated gaming system designed specifically for players. The primary objective of MSL345 is to educate players about it and provide them with the necessary information and skills essential to maximizing revenue. It provides education on pick 3, 4 and 5 lottery games as to how, when and whether or not to play, establishes principles & procedures of play, strategies, tables and examples for each of the games. MSL345 is universal in nature and due to the manner in which it is designed, can be utilized in any state or country offering pick 3, 4 and 5 games. Regardless of where you are playing, My Super Lotto 345 system should be your basis of play. I know of no other information or systems that equips players with such skills to play these games with success. There is no comparison between rules of play offered by MSL345 and those offered by state-sponsored lotteries. MSL345 games were originally designed and developed to be stand-alone games just as the state sponsored lotteries. Therefore, the only way that players can share more equitably in the distribution of lottery dollars is to have a mechanism by which they can do so and that is with MSL345. The introduction of MSL345 to lottery players can, significantly, change the manner in which these pick 3, 4 and 5 games are played.

Download or read book Demography and the Anthropocene written by Larry D. Barnett and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2021-04-19 with total page 84 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Environmentalists devote little attention at the moment to the size and growth of the human population. To counter this neglect, the monograph (i) includes original graphs showing population size and growth since 1920 in the world as a whole and the United States; (ii) assembles evidence tying the increasing number of people to ecosystem deterioration and its societal consequences; and (iii) analyzes sample-survey data to ascertain whether the current disregard of population pressures by U.S. environmentalists reflects the thinking of Americans generally. However, even if a nation took steps primarily intended to lower childbearing and immigration, the findings of social science research indicate that the steps would not have a substantial, lasting impact. The discussion, which suggests an indirect way by which government may reduce fertility, underlines for environmental scholars the importance of studying their subject in a multidisciplinary, collaborative setting.
