The report then reviews the issues that dominated the meetings & submissions: protection of the marine environment, coexistence of seismic exploration with the region's fishing industry, the specific effects of exploration activities, regional development & socio-economic impacts, mitigative measures, issues affecting municipal governments & First Nations, and policy issues. The report concludes with recommendations arising from the review.
