The following notice and list of bungalows is issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Darjeeling, and the Political Officer, Sikkim: - 1. Europeans visiting Sikkim are required to carry a pass, and, unless provided with a pass, will not be allowed beyond the Darjeeling frontier. Passes are issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Darjeeling. 2. Passes for the bungalows on this list are issued as follows: - Nos. 1-39 by the Deputy Commissioner, Darjeeling. (For bungalows 12-39 inclusive, application may, if preferred, be made to the Political Officer in Sikkim, addressing him as such, and not by name.) Nos. 40-15 by the Executive Engineer, Darjeeling Division. 3. All applications made to the Deputy Commissioner for passes should be addressed to the Deputy Commissioners office, Darjeeling, and not to his private residence.
