Cogeneration is commercial in more and more countries as power demands exceed installed capabilities. combustion under any normal regime produces virtually no carbon (soot) nor hydrocarbons heavier than methane. For a given energy release, Methane produces less CO2 than any other hydrocarbon fuel.
