Book Noninteracting Control with Stability for Nonlinear Systems

Download or read book Noninteracting Control with Stability for Nonlinear Systems written by Stefano Battilotti and published by Springer. This book was released on 1994-05-26 with total page 185 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The noninteracting control problem with stability consists of rendering a nonlinear system noninteractive while achieving internal stability. With the exception of systems with outputs partitioned into given blocks or when the state of the system is not available for feedback, this problem is well understood. However, this book provides a useful supplement to the standard texts on the nonlinear control theory and collects all the existing results on the nonlinear noninteracting control problem into a self-contained and extensive concept.

Book Nonlinear Control Systems

Download or read book Nonlinear Control Systems written by Alberto Isidori and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-04-17 with total page 557 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose of this book is to present a self-contained description of the fun damentals of the theory of nonlinear control systems, with special emphasis on the differential geometric approach. The book is intended as a graduate text as weil as a reference to scientists and engineers involved in the analysis and design of feedback systems. The first version of this book was written in 1983, while I was teach ing at the Department of Systems Science and Mathematics at Washington University in St. Louis. This new edition integrates my subsequent teaching experience gained at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 1987, at the Carl-Cranz Gesellschaft in Oberpfaffenhofen in 1987, at the University of California in Berkeley in 1988. In addition to a major rearrangement of the last two Chapters of the first version, this new edition incorporates two additional Chapters at a more elementary level and an exposition of some relevant research findings which have occurred since 1985.

Book Analog Study of Interacting and Noninteracting Multiple loop Control Systems for Turbojet Engines

Download or read book Analog Study of Interacting and Noninteracting Multiple loop Control Systems for Turbojet Engines written by George J. Pack and published by . This book was released on 1954 with total page 42 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It was found that the addition of the integral term, while making the system slower and more oscillatory, was desirable in that it made the final values of the system parameters independent of source of disturbance and also eliminated droop in these parameters.

Book Nonlinear and Adaptive Control of Complex Systems

Download or read book Nonlinear and Adaptive Control of Complex Systems written by A.L. Fradkov and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-06-29 with total page 520 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume presents a theoretical framework and control methodology for a class of complex dynamical systems characterised by high state space dimension, multiple inputs and outputs, significant nonlinearity, parametric uncertainty, and unmodeled dynamics. A unique feature of the authors' approach is the combination of rigorous concepts and methods of nonlinear control (invariant and attracting submanifolds, Lyapunov functions, exact linearisation, passification) with approximate decomposition results based on singular perturbations and decentralisation. Some results published previously in the Russian literature and not well known in the West are brought to light. Basic concepts of modern nonlinear control and motivating examples are given. Audience: This book will be useful for researchers, engineers, university lecturers and postgraduate students specialising in the fields of applied mathematics and engineering, such as automatic control, robotics, and control of vibrations.

Book Practical Considerations for Noninteracting Control Synthesis

Download or read book Practical Considerations for Noninteracting Control Synthesis written by G. Klein and published by . This book was released on 1984 with total page 4 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The research was concerned with the practical problems of achieving noninteracting control (decoupling). This problem involves finding a feedback controller so that each input of a system affects one and only one output of the closed-loop system and maintains this behavior even in the presence of small modelling errors. This research then led to the investigation of the problem of determining the freedom in assigning eigenstructures when the closed-loop system has repeated eigenvalues. The research results for the problem of noninteracting control has led to a characterization of the closed-loop eignestructure of decoupled systems. The results of the investigation of the second problem has led to a complete characterization and better understanding of the minimum time control of discrete time systems, better known as deadbeat control systems. Originator-supplied keywords include: Decoupling control, Eigenstructure assignment, Deadbeat control.
