The verses are reproduced together with extensive commentaries, references, and ideas for follow-up. ENOCH INSIGHTS gives great insight into the book of Enoch itself, which is an ancient book of around 5000 years old and apparently the very first book ever written. The book of Enoch was banned for 1000 years during the Dark Ages, on the threat of one being burned at the stake. Why was it banned? Enoch lived in a Prediluvian world where ‘Fallen Angels’ came down from heaven and were seduced by the most beautiful women who had ever lived. The fruit of this ‘forbidden union’ were the Giants and Titans, who became cannibals and devoured mankind. Perhaps that is why we find many prediluvian cities underground? Were the prediluvian peoples hiding from man-eating giants and other monsters, such as dragons, dinosaurs and also chimeras of many types? How did the chimeras come into existence? During his lifespan which reached 365 years old, Enoch had many visions and dreams of heaven. He also visited hell and other dimensions. He prophesied about the entire ‘7000-year-History’ of mankind from the beginning to the very end with stunning accuracy

Book John Dee s Five Books of Mystery

Download or read book John Dee s Five Books of Mystery written by John Dee and published by Weiser Books. This book was released on 2003-01-01 with total page 500 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Discovered in a hidden compartment of an old chest long after his death, the secret writings of John Dee, one of the leading scientists and occultists of Elizabethan England, record in minute detail his research into the occult. Dee concealed his treatises on the nature of humankind's contact with angelic realms and languages throughout his life, and they were nearly lost forever. In his brief biography of John Dee, Joseph Peterson calls him a "true Renaissance man"? detailing his work in astronomy, mathematics, navigation, the arts, astrology, and the occult sciences. He was even thought to be the model for Shakespeare's Prospero. All this was preparation for Dee's main achievement: five books, revealed and transcribed between March 1582 and May 1583, bringing to light mysteries and truths that scholars and adepts have been struggling to understand and use ever since. These books detail his system for communicating with the angels, and reveal that the angels were interested in and involved with the exploration and colonization of the New World, and in heralding in a new age or new world order. While Dee's influence was certainly felt in his lifetime, his popularity has grown tremendously since. His system was used and adapted by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and subsequently by Aleister Crowley. This new edition of John Dee's Five Books of Mystery is by far the most accessible and complete published to date. Peterson has translated Latin terms and added copious footnotes, putting the instructions and references into context for the modern reader.

Book Complete Books of Enoch All Three New Translation with Extensive Commentary

Download or read book Complete Books of Enoch All Three New Translation with Extensive Commentary written by Dr. A. Nyland and published by Ancient Mysteries Publishing. This book was released on with total page 291 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a NEW Translation of ALL THREE Books of Enoch, with extensive commentary. Many of the Book of Enoch books available are in fact public domain (the R. H. Charles version of 1917) which means that they can be given away to anyone for free, by anyone. This book is NOT one of those. What is the problem with public domain versions? They are full of errors, as they are around 100 years old and out-dated scholarship. Sure, they might be cheap, but most of the information is wrong. World renowned scholar Dr. A. Nyland has a doctorate in ancient languages and word meaning. She was a college professor at the University of New England, Australia, lecturing in ancient languages. She has appeared on television and radio numerous times speaking about ancient languages and ancient peoples. These days, many non-translators (some of whom actually claim to be translators) sell the public domain version of 1917 by R.H. Charles (both as is, and also disguised by slight rewording) as a commercial venture. This version reflects the knowledge of The Book of Enoch as it was back in 1917. Great advances have been made since then. This (all 3 Books of Enoch) is a NEW (2010) and easy-to-read translation by ancient languages scholar Dr. A. Nyland and is NOT the 1917 R.H. Charles Public Domain translation of The Book of Enoch. The Book of Enoch is of importance to theosophy and mysticism. This book is an easy to read translation with cross references, copious background notes, and notes. This new translation by Dr. A. Nyland contains all 3 Books of Enoch: 1) 1 Book of Enoch (Also called The Ethiopic Book of Enoch) 2) 2 Book of Enoch (Also called The Slavonic Book of Enoch, The Secrets of Enoch). Also contains the extended version of 2 The Book of Enoch, The Exaltation of Melchizedek. 3) 3 Book of Enoch (Also called The Hebrew Book of Enoch) The Books of Enoch are of interest to a wide audience: theosophy, mysticism. 1 Book of Enoch tells of the Watchers, a class of angel, who taught humans weapons, spell potions, root cuttings, astrology, astronomy, and alchemy. The Watchers also had sex with human women and produced the Nephilim. For this, they were imprisoned and cast into Tartarus. This is also mentioned in the New Testament. In 2 Book of Enoch, two angels take Enoch through the 7 heavens. This volume contains the extended version of 2 Book of Enoch, The Exaltation of Melchizedek. In 3 Book of Enoch, Enoch ascends to heaven and is transformed into the angel Metatron. This is about the Merkabah and is of interest to those who study mysticism and magic, and to Kabbalists. People interested in theosophy or mysticism will find this book invaluable, as will Rosicrucians.

Book excerpt: Among the first seven scrolls discovered in the caves of Qumran at the Dead Sea is a scroll given the name, "The Book of Giants." It is thought to have been based on the Book of Enoch, a pseudepigraphical Jewish work from the 3rd century BCE. The Book of Giants, like the Book of Enoch, concerns itself with the Nephilim, which are the offspring of fallen angels, who are called the Watchers. Two main versions of the text exist. The Dead Sea version is written in Aramaic. Another version has been found written in middle Persian, adapted from the Aramaic to fit into the Manichean religion. Both versions will be examined.Following theories speculating that the Book of Giants was once part of the Book of Enoch, we will attempt to place the two texts back together to render the complete story of the Watchers and the Nephilim. We will discover the history and contributions of these ancient scrolls and look carefully at their content and meaning. Throughout the combined texts of the Book of Giants and the Book of Enoch we will examine all the biblical and apocryphal references and parallels within the text. The result is an in-depth and panoramic view of the Angels, the Watchers, and the Nephilim, and how one of the giants of the Nephilim race may have survived the flood intended to cleanse the Earth of their horror.

Book excerpt: Enoch - חנוך, Chanoch or Hanokh - is the name given to one of the most peculiar and mysterious biblical characters in Scripture. He was born, according to the Jewish writings, in the seventh generation after Adam, being the son of Jared, and father of Methuselah.Enoch is the subject of many Jewish and Christian traditions. He was considered the author of the Book of Enoch and also called Enoch the scribe of judgment.According to the Hebrew written tradition called Tanakh, reported in Genesis, chapter 5, verses 22-24, Enoch would have been taken by God so that he would not experience death and would have been spared the wrath of the flood:"And Enoch walked with God, after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God; and he appeared no more, because God took him. There are two extraordinary aspects in Enoch's account, focused on in these verses, which have not been focused on in other generations: the indications in the text that he "walked with God" and the fact that he supposedly would not have died, because "God took him. These accounts were the origin of many fables and midrashim (deeper rabbinical studies) of wise Jews over the centuries. Many of them were very bothered by the fact that Enoch "only" lived 365 years, a short life span for his time, according to the book of Genesis.About this biblical character there are also the apocryphal pseudoepigraphic books: "Book of Enoch I" and "Book of Enoch II", which are part of the canon of some religious groups, mainly the Christians of Ethiopia", but which were rejected by the Christians, because they were not inspired by the Holy Spirit and the Hebrews, because they were particularly troublesome from the political point of view. However, the epistle of Judas, in the biblical New Testament, makes express mention of the Book of Enoch, making a brief quotation in verses 14 and 15 of its single chapter. According to The Book of Enoch: with comparative study of the main translations, there are several books attributed to Enoch, three of which are the best known: The Book of Enoch (or Ethiopian Enoch or Enoch 1), The Second Book of Enoch (or Slavonic Enoch) and The Third Book of Enoch (or Hebrew Enoch). The best known is the first one, which is included in the Ethiopian bible, is considered authentic by the Jews of Ethiopia and was considered authentic by the Jews until about the year 200, having been part of the Hebrew biblical corpus until that time and having been removed by a rabbi, for several reasons, including politics. About 200 years later, St. Jerome, in charge of creating the Christian bible, based himself on the principle of "Hebrew truth", which meant that the books considered authentic by the Jews (from the Old Testament) were authentic. For this reason, the Book of Enoch fell into oblivion in the West, until it was found more than a thousand years later. The Book of Enoch (Enoch 1) was first translated and published in Brazil in 1982. The Book of Enoch is extremely controversial, because it addresses sexual and racial issues. One of the controversies is that of the fallen angels who descended from heaven to have sexual relations with women they considered attractive and generated giants that destroyed the Earth. Another polemic is that according to one passage, Adam and Eve had black children and Adam was white, which indicates that Eve was black.According to the account in Genesis about the age of the patriarchs, Seven and their children were still alive when Enoch was taken by God, as well as Methuselah and Lamech.
