Bridget Monahan is an elementary school teacher, and she's about to find out that perhaps soul mates do exist. Her heart is on the mend from many failed relationships, she's a skeptic when it comes to finding love, and the last thing she wants is to be set up on another blind date. But her best friend Autumn is convinced she's found Bridget's soul mate. After many unsuccessful attempts to introduce Bridget to Mr. Right, she persuades her one last time to meet the charming Tristan Hathaway. Bridget's first impression of Tristan is that he reminds her of an angel with a British accent that makes her knees weak. When they begin their passionate romance, Tristan is able to break her defenses that were guarding her heart for so long, and as Bridget allows herself to fall deeper in love with him, she starts to believe that they are soul mates. But she also learns that although his beauty is near perfection, he is not without flaws and there's more to him than she ever imagined. Not to mention, he can seduce her unlike any man she's ever known and take her mind, body, and soul to a place of sheer ecstasy. Bridget unexpectedly becomes the student in this magical love affair and her biggest lesson may be that true love and eternity are bound.

This unique book was written by an insider. Mavis Yen was born in Perth in 1916, the daughter of a Chinese father and an Australian mother. She lived in both countries and understood what it meant to navigate two worlds, to live through war and revolution, and to experience racial discrimination. In the 1980s she began interviewing elderly Chinese Australians, recording hours of conversations. Her intimate understanding of their languages and life experiences encouraged them to share their stories. Published here for the first time, they will change how you think about Australian history. “This is a book that offers a new way to be Australian in this country, and casts Chinese Australians as the protagonists in their own stories... When people agree to tell their stories, they speak to the future. Whether or not we listen is up to us.” — Dr Sophie Loy-Wilson, University of Sydney

The subject of the volume was to allow others to perhaps learn from my self-induced pain and pain brought by others, Although the sentiments are true to my heart, the examples used and people referred to are not meant to be actual history but lessons and teachings. The aim was not to generate money from my endeavors. It was to give those now and forever life lessons. All net proceeds will be directed to charitable endeavors. Download or read book God Grace and Grandpa written by Charles J. Grams and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2022-02-03 with total page 255 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is the true story of a boy who grows up with a great and wonderful man, the love of Christ, and the harsh journey he takes to understanding grace. The desire to follow in his grandfather's footsteps is so overpowering that nothing else matters. The older the boy becomes, the harder to enjoy life outside of his grandfather's presence becomes. The turmoil of his parents and schoolmates causes great distress and pain throughout the rest of his life. The desire to be a friend to everyone and receive the love of others is tragically destroyed by the harshness of children and adults that don't know the love of Christ or care for other's emotions. The daily grind of mean children as well as schoolteachers causes this child to question who he is and if anyone can love him other than his grandfather. A true desire to understand God and understand those around him becomes too heavy, and the emotional distress that this causes nearly puts an end to this young life. Only the love of Jesus and his grandfather keeps him on the correct path of life. Fighting through the harder years of teenage life, trying to prove his worth to his father, dealing with a religious mother and the hatred of others--this story is how a young man becomes an exceptional athlete as well as a cocky womanizer. He hardens himself to those that have hurt him through the years, including his own family. The desire for his father to accept him becomes a lost cause, and he separates himself from his religious mother to go his own way. He never loses his love for his grandfather and the faith he has in God. There are harsh and emotional situations in this book. It may be hard to understand how people can be so cruel to those who want nothing more than to love and be a part of their life. This book will show you that even though you may not realize it, the Lord is with you even in times of distress. We all look for the answers in life and why we go through the things we do. This shows us that no matter what you go through there is one who is always with you and will help you get through anything. I truly believe you will enjoy this book and believe and pray the message is loud and clear. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
