His wife Alice died 29 May 1661-2. He married (2) Elizabeth Wilde of Ipswich, Massachusetts on 6 November 1662. Three sons are mentioned in his will. Of these, John and Samuel mark the beginning of the New England Mower family. Descendants lived throughout New England and elsewhere.

Hannah died 8 June 1855 in Woodstock, Windsor, Vermont. Her descendants have lived in Vermont, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska, California, and other areas in the United States. Hannah's ancestors have lived in Vermont and Massachusetts.
