Luego de esto, se realizó una segunda traducción en Panamá, en la que tuve el privilegio de trabajar en sus correcciones. El original de estas páginas está en idioma inglés. Hemos velado porque no sea alterado ninguno de sus contenidos, para ofrecerle así al lector una versión fiel en castellano de lo que la Madre María ha querido expresar. Aquejado de una apariencia física, en 1994 llegué a Lourdes, en Francia, donde estuvo la Madre María físicamente y donde pulsa el Templo de Su Sagrado Corazón. Allí, en una noche, después de las doce, cuando la gruta ya estaba ausente de la multitudinaria cantidad de peregrinos que la visitan, le solicité a la Madre un milagro, haciéndole la promesa de que, si este era concedido, me dedicaría a dar conferencias sobre Su libro por todos los rincones del mundo donde me fuera posible. El milagro se realizó y la promesa se cumplió. Para facilitar el estudio de las “Memorias de la Amada María”, escribí un libro síntesis llamado “El Concepto Inmaculado”, donde expongo todo lo explicado por Ella, de forma ordenada y resumida. En el año 2001 regresé a Lourdes, y estando en silencio ante la gruta, me vino a la mente que nuevamente debían ser traducidas Sus memorias, esta vez en Buenos Aires, Argentina, donde apareciera en la portada, el nombre de la Madre María como autora de Su propio libro cosa que había sido negada en otras ediciones, y quedaran sus derechos como patrimonio intelectual de la humanidad, preparando el advenimiento de la Madre María como Espíritu Envolvente del año 2005. Toda una vida de lectura, estudio, devoción y amor a este libro es poco, porque en sus páginas está expresado lo más bello que se le puede decir a un alma sobre el camino espiritual, la Magnificación, el Concepto Inmaculado y la Vida del Maestro Jesús.

It produced some truly notable offspring—novels that cross genre boundaries to find innovative forms, and treatises that fuse literature and philosophy in new ways. In her illuminating interdisciplinary study of Spanish fiction of the "Silver Age," Roberta Johnson places this important body of Spanish literature in context through a synthesis of social, literary, and philosophical history. Her examination of the work of Miguel de Unamuno, Pio Baroja, Azorin, Ramon Perez de Ayala, Juan Ramon Jimenez, Gabriel Miro, Pedro Salinas, Rosa Chacel, and Benjamin Jarnes brings to light philosophical frictions and debates and opens new interpersonal and intertextual perspectives on many of the period's most canonical novels. Johnson reformulates the traditional discussion of generations and "isms" by viewing the period as an intergenerational complex in which writers with similar philosophical and personal interests constituted dynamic groupings that interacted and constantly defined and redefined one another. Current narratological theories, including those of Todorov, Genette, Bakhtin, and Martinez Bonati, assist in teasing out the intertextual maneuvers and philosophical conflicts embedded in the novels of the period, while the sociological and biographical material bridges the philosophical and literary analyses. The result, solidly grounded in original archival research, is a convincingly complete picture of Spain's intellectual world in the first thirty years of this century. Crossfire should revolutionize thinking about the Generation of '98 and the Generation of '14 by identifying the heterogeneous philosophical sources of each and the writers' reactions to them in fiction.
