Book The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Download or read book The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary written by Elizabeth Kindelmann and published by Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This book was released on 2014-05-20 with total page 360 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Complete Edition."- This Diary was written by a humble woman named Elizabeth Kindelmann, who lived in Hungary from 1913 to 1985. The Diary does not only contain high spiritual reflections, but also a message of great importance, and even more, an initiative of grace by the Most Blessed Virgin, that may be summed up as follows: "Satan intensifies his efforts to ruin souls. His eternal opponent is the Most Blessed Virgin Mary. She obtained from the heavenly Father, by the merits of the Passion of her Most Holy Son, an outpouring of graces so great as have not existed since the Word became Flesh (the words of our Most Holy Mother). She will blind Satan with the Flame of light and grace which bursts forth from her Immaculate Heart." During the years going from 1961 to 1983, she received heavenly messages and she was directed to put those in writing. It started with an exceedingly "dark night." Following that harrowing event, the Lord Jesus and the Virgin Mary addressed her with internal locutions, words which she heard clearly in her soul. Virgin Mary: "You know how my heart is immensely in pain. Satan is sweeping souls away in a terrifying way. Why do you not all try your best to stop him and do it as soon as possible? I need your help. My heart is burning with sorrow because I see how many souls are being damned. Many are dragged away in spite of their good will. With a sarcastic smile, the Evil One extends his arms, and with terrible malice, he drags away those for whom my Divine Son suffered unspeakable torments and death. Please, help!" On June 6, 2009, a major event took place during the International Convention of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Budapest, Hungary. The original Hungarian Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann received the Imprimatur number 494-4/2009 from Cardinal Peter Erdo, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest and Primate of Hungary."

Book excerpt: Beloved as "the Little Flower of Jesus," Marie-Fran oise-Th r se Martin-or SAINT TH R SE OF LISIEUX (1873-1897)-is remembered today for this, her spiritual autobiography. Before her too-young death from tuberculosis at the age of 24, she put down in words her simple yet profound approach to the worship of God, called her "little way," a philosophy of everyday goodness and appreciation of life and nature that anyone may follow. Remarkably, her deep piety grew from her own life-long suffering, from the loss of her mother at age four to her own ill health, and through them her dedication to obedience of and surrender to God's will.A favorite of spiritual seekers, this is a lovely work of devotion and prayfulness.

Book The Bridge Between the East and West A Journey to Truth through His Love

This book was released on 2009-02-28 with total page 285 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An inspiring autobiography about Samia Zumout’s own life journey towards God and His immense Healing Love. Samia courageously and intimately shares her heart’s journey as she recounts her life story, hurts, inner heart’s wounds, failures, struggles, moments of despair and the lies that she believed about herself that prevented her from experiencing God's love for her in fullness. She shares how the Lord Jesus freed her from these lies and healed her heart’s wounds through His infinite Love. Amid her quest for God, she finds someone she never expected to find: herself. Our Lord demonstrated to Samia that everything in her life - good and bad – has its purpose. Samia's story will challenge you to look deeply into your own heart and inspire you to find answers to your own life's hurts and challenges through reading about hers and the victory that our Lord gives us as He heals our wounds and draws us into His love for us! In June 2006, Samia felt a strong desire in her heart to write this autobiographical book, The Bridge between the East and West: A Journey to Truth through His Love. While in deep prayer, the Lord Jesus confirmed to Samia that writing this book was an important part of her life’s mission as it would bring people closer to His heart as many would experience His healing love while reading about her life’s journey. The Lord Jesus instructed Samia that it would only take her 30 days to write the book if she lived a sacramental life centered on the Eucharist, deep prayer and fasting throughout that period. Samia began writing the book on July 17, 2007 and the book was completed on August 15, 2007, exactly 30 days later.

Book He is My Heaven

Download or read book He is My Heaven written by Jennifer Moorcroft and published by ICS Publications. This book was released on 2015-09-08 with total page 211 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Elizabeth of the Trinity (Elizabeth Catez) was a young French woman who became a Discalced Carmelite in the Carmel of Dijon. She was just twenty-one when she died in 1906. But those few years were enough for her to develop and deepen a distinctive approach to God, one that has since inspired countless people in their quest for a deeper relationship with the indwelling God. Although influenced by St. Therese of Lisieux, Elizabeth’s spirituality is distinctive, highly biblical, simple to understand and to practice. Her perennial theme is the Blessed Trinity’s indwelling within the human person—a reality promised in the Gospel, discovered in the silence of prayer and adoration, and then lived out in love for God and neighbor. In He Is My Heaven, Jennifer Moorcroft draws on Elizabeth’s own writings and other sources to give us a short, readable portrait of this fascinating young woman who fell in love with God. Elizabeth’s entrance into the Carmelites was delayed for several years. But this didn’t stop her from deepening her personal relationship with God through prayer. All the while, she had an active social life, cultivated warm friendships, and was active in her parish teaching catechism classes and hosting summer camps for underprivileged children. This example of a deep, contemplative spirit practiced in the midst of a full, busy life as a layperson makes Elizabeth of the Trinity appealing to contemporary God-seekers. She found God not only in the cloister, but in her everyday world with its joys and challenges. As the author notes, our contemporary world is far more cluttered, noisy, and distracting than Elizabeth’s ever was, inside the cloister or out. In our frenetic 21st century lives, her message is more valuable than ever: We, too, can acquire the habit of going into that quiet place within ourselves where God dwells, and live in God’s presence wherever we are.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “My way is one that is full of confidence and love.” —St. Thérèse of Lisieux Through her autobiography and an extensive collection of letters, St. Thérèse helped people understand nothing was too little to give Jesus, and nothing done out of love for him was insignificant. Perhaps this is why so many lives still resonate with hers. It is easy to feel insignificant and unimportant. Yet, the clear and compelling language of her story and her letters remains the perfect antidote to such feelings. Fr. Gary Caster writes, “While the language she uses might be new to you, the insights she offers are as eternal as the God who loves us and longs for each of us to be united with him, in the Son, through the Holy Spirit, for all eternity.” These inspiring words from her writings have been selected and arranged according to important themes of the spiritual life: confidence, holiness, humility, abandonment, obedience, the love of God, mercy, charity, and suffering. Her devotion to Jesus, Mary, and the Eucharist shine through all of her writings.
