Book JFK The Conspiracy and Truth Behind the Assassination

Download or read book JFK The Conspiracy and Truth Behind the Assassination written by John Hughes-Wilson and published by Kings Road Publishing. This book was released on 2023-10-26 with total page 349 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The killing of US President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, in November 1963, sent a shockwave around the world. The charismatic young Democrat was seen as a beacon of hope in the West, but his liberal reforming policies had made him many powerful enemies at home. For sixty years, numerous theories have swirled around this key event in American - and world - history. Yet whatever the conclusions of the official Warren Report - that the President had been assassinated by a lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald - many people doubt that to be true. Indeed, President Nixon later admitted on tape that the report was 'a hoax committed on the American people.' John Hughes-Wilson, a former colonel in British Intelligence, has sifted through the millions of words and thousands of pieces of evidence, to put together an intelligence assessment of what really happened that dreadful high noon in Dallas in 1963.John Hughes-Wilson highlights the facts behind why Marilyn Monroe had to be silenced, LBJ's corrupt secrets, the Kennedys' secret Cuban coup plans, how the Mafia manipulated politicians and the CIA, and how the assassination was covered up. Reading this astounding book, no one can be in any doubt that JFK's death was not at the hands of a lone deranged gunman, but a deadly plot to remove a President who threatened vested interests at home and abroad.

Book The JFK Assassination Dissected

Download or read book The JFK Assassination Dissected written by Cyril H. Wecht, M.D., J.D. and published by McFarland. This book was released on 2021-11-08 with total page 308 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since President John F. Kennedy's 1963 murder in Dallas, medical examiner and lawyer Dr. Cyril Wecht was initially inclined to accept the official theory that one person alone was responsible for the crime. But as Wecht delved into the evidence with boundless curiosity and unprecedented access, he came to understand that America had, instead, suffered a coup d'etat at the hands of rogue elements within our own government. Nobody else has Wecht's up-close and personal experience in uncovering the facts behind this assassination--and now he is sharing it with the world. Co-authored by investigative journalist Dawna Kaufmann, this comprehensive book reveals Wecht's analyses of the case's forensic and medical evidence. With his keen eye and sharp tongue, Wecht wields his scalpel on JFK's dubious autopsy report, the inept Warren Commission Report, the mishandling of crucial materials, all of the key players, and the media malpractice that has allowed the truth to remain hidden for nearly six decades.

Book Praise from a Future Generation

Download or read book Praise from a Future Generation written by John Kelin and published by Wings Press (TX). This book was released on 2007 with total page 613 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Finely written and meticulously documented, this book describes how--very early on--a small group of ordinary citizens began extraordinary efforts to demonstrate that the JFK assassination could not have happened the way the government said it did. In time, their efforts had an enormous impact on public opinion, but this account concentrates on the months before the controversy caught fire, when people with skeptical viewpoints still saw themselves as lone voices. Material seldom seen by the public includes a suppressed photograph of the grassy knoll, an unpublished 1964 interview with an eyewitness, the earliest mention of the "magic bullet," and an analysis of the commotion surrounding New Orleans district attorney Jim Garrison's charge that anti-Castro CIA operatives were involved.

Book excerpt: "A book for the ages." —Los Angeles Times Book Review Four Days in November is an extraordinarily exciting, precise, and definitive narrative of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, by Lee Harvey Oswald. It is drawn from Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy, a monumental and historic account of the event and all the conspiracy theories it spawned, by Vincent Bugliosi, legendary prosecutor of Charles Manson and author of Helter Skelter. For general readers, the carefully documented account presented in Four Days is utterly persuasive: Oswald did it and he acted alone.

Readers will not only understand the simplicity of the JFK assassination, but also the proper way of investigating it." -Dr. Ken Rahn, Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry Emeritus University of Rhode Island "This is an excellent book that I recommend without any hesitation. It is the only book to address the firearms and ballistic aspects of the JFK assassination in a logical, knowledgeable and scientific manner. It dispels the myths and falsehoods that have either grown up or been generated about the weapon, and the wounds. Anyone interested in the Kennedy assassination must have a copy of this book."-Dr. Vincent DiMaio, Nationally recognized JFK expert and Medical Examiner of Bexar County, Texas "A breakthrough work1⁄4the written record on this subject is begging for more authoritative work like this. The manner in which Sturdivan presents this new information is extremely effective. Besides having a wealth of scientific knowledge, he is truly a skillful writer."-John Canal, author of Silencing the Lone Assassin "The collision between the advocacy method and the scientific method of solving cases is a key factor in understanding our times. Larry Sturdivan shows how it played out in promoting doubts about one of the most notorious 20th century crimes."-William K. Hartmann, Planetary Science Institute, Tucson, and Fellow, American Association for the Advancement of Science

Book The Last Investigation

    Book Details:
  • Author : Gaeton Fonzi
  • Publisher : Simon and Schuster
  • Release : 2018-10-16
  • ISBN : 151074035X
  • Pages : 504 pages

Download or read book The Last Investigation written by Gaeton Fonzi and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2018-10-16 with total page 504 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A shocking exposé looking into the failure of our government to investigate the assassination of a president. Now featuring a foreword from New York Times bestselling author Dick Russell. Gaeton Fonzi’s masterful retelling of his work investigating the Kennedy assassination for two congressional committees is required reading for students of the assassination and the subsequent failure of the government to solve the crime. His book is a compelling postmortem on the House Select Committee on Assassinations, as well as a riveting account of Fonzi’s pursuit of leads indicating involvement in the assassination by officers of the Central Intelligence Agency. First published in 1993 and now with a new foreword by Dick Russell, New York Times bestselling author of They Killed Our President! and 63 Documents the Government Doesn’t Want You to Read, Fonzi’s The Last Investigation was a landmark book upon its release. More than merely an indictment of the Committee’s work, The Last Investigation tells the story of the important leads Fonzi developed as an investigator, which sent him into the milieu of Kennedy-haters among anti-Castro exiles and CIA officers. In this highly readable book, the author follows the trail to formerly obscure CIA officers such as David Atlee Phillips and David Morales. New records declassified under the JFK Records Act have only added to the dark questions raised here.

Book Honest Answers about the Murder of President John F Kennedy

Download or read book Honest Answers about the Murder of President John F Kennedy written by Vincent Michael Palamara and published by TrineDay. This book was released on 2021-03-19 with total page 484 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thousands of books and articles have been written about the murder of JFK, many of which are large in volume and short on facts. Quite often, these works try to reinvent the wheel, attempting to cover every single area of the assassination, as well as many tangential and unessential points, as well. The reader is often left exhausted and confused. The sheer volume of pages, conflicting facts, and theories leaves one unsatisfied and, quite frankly, not sure exactly what did happen on 11/22/63. This book seeks to separate the wheat from the chaff. It is 55-plus years later: it is time for real, honest answers in an easy-to-read and understand format. Proof of a conspiracy; no theories; to-the-point; a perspective on the assassination for the millennial age and beyond. Based on years—decades—of primary source research and having read countless books on the subject.

Book The Zapruder Film

    Book Details:
  • Author : David R. Wrone
  • Publisher : University Press of Kansas
  • Release : 2003-11-22
  • ISBN : 0700619437
  • Pages : 400 pages

Download or read book The Zapruder Film written by David R. Wrone and published by University Press of Kansas. This book was released on 2003-11-22 with total page 400 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is the most famous home movie of all time, the most closely analyzed 26 seconds of film ever shot, the most disturbing visual record of what many have called “the crime of the century.” In 486 frames—a mere six feet of celluloid—Abraham Zapruder’s iconic film captures from beginning to end the murder of President John F. Kennedy in broad daylight. An essential piece of evidence, the film has become nearly synonymous with the assassination itself and has generated decades of debate among conspiracy theorists and defenders of the Warren Commission’s official report. Until now, however, no scholar has produced a comprehensive book-length study of the film and its relation to the tragic events of November 22, 1963. David Wrone, one of our nation’s foremost authorities on the assassination, re-examines Zapruder’s film with a fresh eye and a deep knowledge of the forensic evidence. He traces the film’s history from its creation on the “grassy knoll” by Dallas dressmaker Zapruder through its initial sale to Life magazine and early reproductions and its analysis by the Warren Commission and countless assassination researchers, licensing by the Zapruder family, legal battles over bootleg copies, and sale to the federal government for sixteen million dollars. Wrone’s major contribution, however, is to demonstrate how a close examination of the film itself necessarily refutes the Warren Commission’s lone-gunman and single-bullet theories. The film, as he reminds us, provides a scientifically precise timeline of events, as well as crucial clues regarding the timing, number, origins, and impact of the shots fired that day. Analyzing the film frame-by-frame in relation to other evidence—including two key photos by Phil Willis and Ike Altgens—he builds a convincing case against the official findings. Without fanfare, he concludes that more than three gunshots were fired from more than one direction and that most likely none were fired by alleged assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. If true, then JFK’s death was the result of a conspiracy, for the Commission’s nonconspiracy conclusion requires a maximum of three shots and one gunman. Wrone, however, does not speculate as to who actually shot JFK or why—or even if Oswald was a part of the conspiracy. In fact, he is no fan of conspiracy-think and is just as critical of the legion of conspiracy theorists as he is of the Warren Commission (which, he reveals, crushed dissent within its own ranks). Doggedly pursuing the evidence wherever it leads, Wrone has produced a meticulous, clear-eyed, and provocative new reading of this remarkable cinematic Rosetta Stone.

Book The Radical Right and the Murder of John F Kennedy

Download or read book The Radical Right and the Murder of John F Kennedy written by Harrison E. Livingstone and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2004 with total page 632 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Radical Right and the Murder of John F. Kennedy: Stunning Evidence in the Assassination of the President Harrison E. Livingstone's major new book, the fifth of his works on the death of JFK, brings together for the first time all of the central evidence demonstrating a domestic Right Wing conspiracy rooted in Texas which assassinated the President on November 22, 1963. The book represents forty years of work. The book discusses in great detail the actual medical evidence and the forgery of the autopsy photographs and X-rays, which Mr. Livingstone first exposed, the alteration of the autopsy report, the framing of the designated patsy, Lee Harvey Oswald, and the substitution and fabrication of every single piece of evidence. It discusses the role played in the murder by some of the most powerful men in the country: Lyndon Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover, and Richard Nixon, as well as the rich oil men and companies who backed them. It then describes the cover-ups by the media, the major investigations over the years, the FBI, and the mind-control cooperation at work in the case to misdirect researchers and the public. The book describes in great detail the people and companies in Texas who planned and carried out the assassination. It names names. One recent investigation in the 90s followed Mr. Livingstone's preceeding work and reinvestigated with the witnesses both he and the official investigations had talked to, but this time took into consideration their documentation and what they had actually said, and in a chapter this is his stunning new evidence from the U.S. government under President Clinton that is blowing the lid off the case. Mr. Livingstone first revealed to the Washington press corps in 1998 that there has been such a secret investigation, and spoke for fifty minutes when the Assassination Records Review Board gave their final press conference. As a result, Mr. Livingstone was on all major TV networks and on the "Today" show (NBC) with Katie Couric the next morning. The book also contains the story of Dallas doctor Charles Crenshaw's law suit and the depositions of the editor and writer of the Journal of American Medical Association who libeled him in articles in 1992. Dr. Crenshaw's book about trying to save Kennedy at Parkland Hospital shortly after the shooting came out on the same day as Mr. Livingstone's major work on the medical evidence, High Treason 2, were JAMA's targets, and the depositions contain much discussion of Mr. Livingstone's major impact on the JFK case. This new book is to be followed closely by a sixth book entirely about the Zapruder film, called The Hoax of the Century: Decoding the Forgery of the Zapruder Film.
