Download or read book Magnetic Properties of TMI Doped Nano Zinc Ferrites written by Dr.B.M.Manohara and published by Excel Publications. This book was released on 2020-01-14 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hydrothermally synthesized rare-earth oxide compounds such as Nd2O3, Dy2O3, Gd2O3, Eu2O3, Y2O3, etc. and hydroxide compounds such as Y(OH)3, Dy(OH)3, Gd(OH)3, Eu(OH)3, Tb(OH)3, etc. have been widely used as high-performance luminescent devices, catalysts and other functional materials based on the electronic, optical and chemical characteristics arising from their 4f electrons. In the crystallization process, surfactant molecules adsorbed on the crystal nuclei serve not only as a growth director but also as a protector to prevent from aggregation of the product. As a result, nanorods were produced. Cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) and hexadecylamine (HDA) surfactant are plays a key role in controlling the growth and production of oxide phosphors in the hydrothermal method.

Book Manganese Zinc Spinel Ferrite Nanoparticles and Ferrofluids

Download or read book Manganese Zinc Spinel Ferrite Nanoparticles and Ferrofluids written by Rajender Singh and published by . This book was released on 2017 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The nanoparticles and ferrofluids of spinel ferrites are useful in bio-sensors, transducers, storage devices, optical devices, and so on. The Mn-Zn ferrite (MZF) is generalized soft spinel ferrite having high saturation magnetization at low applied magnetic field. This chapter covers the synthesis of nanoparticles of various sizes and compositions of Mn1-xZnx Fe2O4 with x = 0-1 by co-precipitation method. The structural and magnetic properties of the nanoparticles are discussed. The ferrofluids of superparamagnetic and ferromagnetic MZF nanoparticles were synthesized. The magneto-viscosity of ferrofluids with the dispersion of nanoparticles in different colloidal was studied. The Herschel-Bulkley model is applied to analyse the data for low viscosity ferrofluids.
