The inner part of the breed's coat, called the 'underwood, ' should be densely packed and also of a red coloration. The temperament of dogs is normally affected by the following factors: individual personality, heredity, training and socialization. It is also important to make sure to thoroughly socialize your Irish Terrier with strangers, children and other animals during its puppyhood. Generally speaking, the Irish Terrier is very good with people and has a high sense of loyalty towards their family unit.
