Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ishta was on her last journey through life, as mortals know it to be. Her soul would no longer be required to be sent back to earths light. Her Karma was paid in full, her reincarnation complete. Almost. The year is now.The wheels have been set in motion. Complete annihilation of all: man, myth, and magic, was beginning. The coming of the most unknown but feared entity was gaining strength and power. With the world turning into complete chaos and anarchy, hate, greed, a total disrespect for all, and an absolute lack of belief and faith in what people could not see. Inner spirituality, self-worth, and trust in the truths set by those much wiser had all but vanished in the mists. This fed the beast endlessly, making him more supreme, his ability to influence near unstoppable. Man wore blinders, oblivious and uncaring to all that surrounded him. One by one, mans ability to imagine, believe, and love began to disappear. His tolerance of what he could not control turned to hate. A legacy had been born in the ancient manuscripts of time thousands of years before. They foretold of a woman born to the earths light. This woman, if she succeeded, would save the inhabitants of all from extinction. Even those that most thought were figments of the imagination. She must fight for the good of all. Her blood would be the price, of which Ishta was all too willing to give. It is what it is. Hyetym, her immortal childhood friend and blood brother from many lives, would help guide her through the events of the scriptures. For as it is written, so shall it be. Like following a recipe. If it is followed correctly, with little or no deviation, the outcome benefits all. Ishta is to follow the ancient writings. Many have waited for her beyond centuries. Her task must be complete before any can move forward. A stagnant death is all that awaits them if she fails. Ishta must lead a double life. One in our present Earth, the other in worlds that run parallel with ours, accessing them through portals. Unbeknownst to her, but not to Hyetym, an immortal man has waited for her tirelessly. Kemp. He has loved her since time began. He has watched her be reborn several times, waiting for her to reach her final life. Ishta has only sensed that her beloved exists elsewhere. Obviously, not of this world. Hyetym has waited for their circles to entwine.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Grounded in Christian love mysticism, Love’s Oneing gives voice to the luminous consciousness that awakens from within our oneness in God in contemplation. With great sensitivity, the book offers nuanced insight into the marriage of kenosis and desire in contemplation, through the rich tapestry of writings from nine mystics: Julian of Norwich, the Cloud of Unknowing author, Meister Eckhart, Mechthild of Magdeburg, Clare of Assisi, John of the Cross, Teilhard de Chardin, Beatrice Bruteau and Ilia Delio. With the delicate eye of a spiritual director immersed in mystical literature, Kerrie Hide situates these mystical teachings within contemplative prayer, whilst offering a scholarly exploration of contemplative practice to embody the insights. Deeply grounded in traditional and contemporary mystical classics, Hide celebrates how the Christian mystical tradition lays a foundation for the evolutionary growth of communion consciousness and the insights of quantum science, highlighting key moments in contemplation that when surrendered into, open into divine love. Born of intellectual reflection, lived experience and contemplative wisdom, Love’s Oneing makes a unique contribution to the existing literature on contemplation at a time when the recovery of the mystical dimension of life is crucial for the future of our planet in this climate crisis moment.

Marriage is your most sacred relationship on this earth, and prayer is the single most powerful way to transform it. It's time to learn the relational truths in the legend of Honi the Circle Maker--a man bold enough to draw a circle in the sand and not leave it until God answered his impossible prayer. The commitment made in the sacred circle of marriage requires the same kind of boldness and resolve as the Circle Maker. Honi's prayer saved a generation, and your prayers can transform your relationship. Praying Circles around Your Marriage draws from the life-changing principles Mark Batterson outlines in his New York Times bestseller The Circle Maker. Joined by Pastor Joel and Nina Schmidgall who serve with Mark at National Community Church, the authors draw from personal stories, Scripture, and practical insight. You'll discover seven key prayer circles for your marriage: Vision Circle, Romance Circle, War Circle, Dance Circle, Support Circle, Storm Circle, and Legacy Circle. Through these circles you will: Discover your shared vision and find a new combined purpose together Turn the tables on conflict and access the gift of being known Be a student of your spouse and ensure a connected and intimate relationship Build a foundation for your marriage that will help you weather the trials that are sure to come Learn to draw a larger circle around your marriage so that your unified purpose can be a blessing to others Bold prayers honor God, and God honors bold prayers. Book Jesus Circles

  • Publisher : Xlibris Corporation

  • Pages : 154 pages

Download or read book Jesus Circles written by Peter R. Lawson and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2004-07-13 with total page 154 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Jesus Circles....... ..........Peter Lawson says it is possible to imagine and create a new social order in which the abundance of the earth is justly shared and the domination system with its inherent reliance on violence is no longer sanctioned . The new social order is based on the movement Jesus started among marginalized peasants in Galilee; a movement that undermined the Roman/ Judean system of domination and violence. His program incarnated an alternative community in which oppressed common folk experienced healing, wholeness and abundance even in the midst of a system of extreme violence. Many of us have moved away from the notions of God that prevailed in the ancient world. Many of us have found that even those concepts of God that survived the enlightenment no longer fit the demands of 21st century thought and culture. We long for a progressive religious expression that recognizes many religious paths to the life of abundance we all desire and that concepts of spirituality are culturally conditioned. Those of us who come out of a Christian heritage find we can no longer say the creeds in a meaningful way. We cant accept or ascribe to beliefs about a blood sacrifice that appeases an angry God. We are offended by the human violence and the violence of God that pervades the Bible. We no longer take the Holy Scriptures as definitive historical documents and rightly treat them as fictionalized accounts of (sometime barely discernible) events. Yet out of what we reject, the powerful figure of a Galilean sage has emerged and seized our imaginations. Many of us find ourselves liberated by the recent Third Quest for the Historical Jesus and the Biblical scholarship which follows the same strategies.. Through sophisticated developments in archeology and cultural anthropology in the last half of the 20th century, we know more about the politics, economics and cultural life of the Mediterranean basin in the 1st century CE than its inhabitants could know. We now have, for example, spectacular new awareness of the sociological structure of agrarian societies It appears that most of the literature of the New Testament is the interpretive works of upper class men (sic) trying to fit the radical Jesus into their Greco-Roman cultural frame. Listen to these words In the half-century before the creation of the first narrative gospel - the Gospel of Mark ... (Jesus) a visionary sage was transformed from an iconoclast to an icon and his radical vision of Gods domain dissipated in debates about divinity. With all of this scholarship we can now look behind the editorial embellishments of early Christian literature. We can peer deeply into Jesus message and mission in the context of his own social reality. We know, better than ever, how his radical stance so mightily offended the ruling powers of Galilee and Judea that they sought his assassination. We know how his healing and teaching enthused and energized marginalized Jewish peasants in Galilee. If we are to have any worthwhile life in our own world, dominated as it is by violence, we must begin to explore ways to embody today the nonviolent message and program of Jesus. Our first task is to get as many of the interpretive notions of those upper class literate Gospel writers out of the way so we can see Jesus as he himself spoke and acted, knowing our vision will still be a bit blurry. Because the differences between the first-century culture of the Mediterranean world and ours of the twenty-first century are radical, our second task is to look at and listen to the specific things Jesus said and did in the context of his culture. That will enable us to unpack the impact
