She is supposed to start teaching this fall. At least that’s the plan, before she meets a sexy Spanish god named Alejandro and falls head over heels for him. Alejandro came to the U.S. to help out on the family dairy farm. He runs smack dab into Lindsey at the grocery store and immediately realizes she is his mate. Add to the mix, Ryan. He lives on a neighboring farm and happens to stop by Kara’s where Lindsey is showing off her new man Alejandro. Alejandro and Ryan are stunned and none too happy to realize they’re both mated to Lindsey. Lindsey, who was raised in a fanatical religious sect, can’t begin to wrap her head around a threesome, and that’s before she finds out her men are shape-shifting wolves. While the three unsuspecting lovers attempt to come to terms with their unexpected life changes, Lindsey’s childhood church amps up their attempts to bring her back into the flock. Why won’t they leave her alone, and what do they want? The answers are shocking, and the results could be life-changing for everyone. This book is a re-release of a previously published book. No additions or changes have been made to the story.

Book THE LINDSEYS KANSAS PIONEERS 1855 2024

Download or read book THE LINDSEYS KANSAS PIONEERS 1855 2024 written by Marvin L and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2024-03-03 with total page 446 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book was written largely for the benefit of the writers children and grandchildren so they would know something of the life and hardships faced by their pioneering ancestors. It was inspired by their questions about our childhood and youth and their own memories of many visits to the Kansas farms of their grandparents and great grandparents. However, we think many other readers will enjoy learning something about what it was like growing up on a midwestern farm in the 1940s and 50s. A time that was in many ways much simpler but certainly not easy. We had the privilege of knowing personally grandparents and great grandparents who had lived through the many profound changes that occurred around the change of the century. Automobiles, tractors and telephones had only arrived on the farm about 30 years earlier and the grandparents’ barns and garages were still filled with horse-drawn equipment and harnesses from an earlier era. Electricity and graveled roads only occurred after WWII in our memory and running water and indoor bathrooms were still not common on many farms as late as 1955. It was a different and changing world of which we were privileged to be a part. Almost all our relatives lived nearby, and neighbors all knew us and didn’t hesitate to let our parents know if we were up to any mischief. We were expected to take responsibility, work hard, always be truthful, stay out of trouble, study hard and plant straight rows. All are excellent traits that unfortunately are not as valued today as they were then. In the book we have shared some history of the area and some stories of incidents from our lives that were not uncommon among farm families. We hope readers enjoy learning about us and our families.

At twenty-eight years old, neither has met their mate, nor are they in a hurry to find a woman who will end their long-standing arrangement with each other. Their dairy farm, a few miles outside of town, allows them the luxury of shifting to their wolf form any time they want in relative seclusion. Justin’s world tips when Kara walks into the bar on a random Friday night. Immediately recognizing her scent as that of his mate, he is drawn to her by forces beyond his control. Nervous about sharing the news with Trevor, Justin is relieved to realize Kara is also his best friend’s mate. Now all they have to do is convince Kara she belongs with them and track down a stalker who seems hell-bent on taking Kara for himself. This book is a re-release of a previously published book. Book excerpt: An elegant werewolf in Edinburgh... 1788. When Lindsay Somerville, the most elegant werewolf in Paris, learns that the man who held him in abject captivity for decades is on his way to France, intent on recapturing him, he knows he must leave the Continent for his own safety. Lindsay cannot take the risk of being recaptured—he may have been free for a century but he can still feel the ghost of his old chains under his fine clothes. … on a mission... While he’s in Edinburgh, Lindsay has been tasked with acquiring the “Naismith Papers”, the writings of a long-dead witchfinder. It should be a straightforward mission—all Lindsay has to do is charm an elderly book collector, Hector Cruikshank. But Cruikshank may not be all he seems, and there are others who want the papers. … meets his match As if that were not enough, while tracking down the Naismith Papers, Lindsay meets stubborn architect Drew Nicol. Although the attraction between them is intense, Nicol seems frustratingly determined to resist Lindsay’s advances. Somehow though, Lindsay can’t seem to accept Nicol’s rejection. Is he just moonstruck, or is Nicol bonded to him in ways he doesn’t yet understand? Note: this story continues and completes in the second book in this series, Master Wolf.
