"As I have to preach three times on Sabbath and am suffering somewhat with my throat, I write to beg you to 'come over and help me' on that day. Please say to Elder Wm. F. Broaddus that I hope he will come here from Charlottesville. I will pledge him several subscriptions for the Theological School. Let me hear from you both if you can't come."
