Il est impératif de faire passer l'enseignement par des images et du jeu. Pour ma part, j'ai opté la méthode de répéter à plusieurs reprises la couleur par le jeu. J'utilise des éléments que le tout petit a l'habitude de voir, ce qui est pour lui un très bon repère. Par exemple, pour la couleur jaune, je propose la banane, le soleil, le canard... J'y intègre aussi de très belles images, visuellement très attirantes pour l'enfant. Pour un enfant de 2 ans, on débute d'abord par l'apprentissage des couleurs de base soit le jaune, le bleu, le vert et le rouge. Plus tard, vers l'âge de 3-4 ans, on lui apprend d'autres couleurs telles que le rose, le marron, le violet....Ces couleurs seront abordées dans notre deuxième livre de couleurs (prochainement en ligne sur Amazon).Comme dit précédemment, l'enfant doit ressentir beaucoup de joie en regardant le livre des couleurs. Ce livre peut être lu à tout moment de la journée et même en soirée, tel un livre avant de dormir. Pour son épanouissement, un enfant demande de l'attention et cela à tout âge. Mais il y a deux facettes. La première serait de demander à l'enfant de travailler pour tout connaitre avec insistance et la deuxième serait de prendre le travail comme un jeu, en s'amusant. 'Les livres de Julia' ont été réalisé selon la deuxième facette. Apprentissage doux où l'on mêle couleurs, amusement, jeu, découverte ... Il est important de ne pas brusquer l'enfant. Sa construction intellectuelle est avant tout sur la sérénité de ses apprentissages ainsi que sur l'attention que porte le parent à l'enfant.

Sydenham follows Bourdon’s political career from the final days of the old monarchy through Bourdon’s active participation in the Revolution. Bourdon left remarkably few personal papers. During the painstaking exploration for details of his life, several critical as well as unfamiliar events of the period have been illuminated, suggesting that similar misrepresentations of many other relatively unknown French revolutionaries have distorted current understanding of this period, crucial to the growth and development of modern democracy.

Arguing that scholars have overstated the uniformity of revolutionary political culture, Mason uses songwriting and singing practices to reveal its diverse nature. Song performances in the streets, theaters, and clubs of Paris showed how popular culture was invested with new political meaning after 1789, becoming one of the most important means for engaging in revolutionary debate.Throughout the 1790s, French citizens came to recognize the importance of anthems for promoting their interpretations of revolutionary events, and for championing their aspirations for the Revolution. By opening new arenas of cultural activity and demolishing Old Regime aesthetic hierarchies, revolutionaries permitted a larger and infinitely more diverse population to participate in cultural production and exchange, Mason contends. The resulting activism helps explain the urgency with which successive governments sought to impose an official political culture on a heterogeneous and mobilized population. After 1793, song culture was gradually depoliticized as popular classes retreated from public arenas, middle brow culture turned to the strictly entertaining, and official culture became increasingly rigid. At the same time, however, singing practices were invented which formed the foundation for new, activist singing practices in the next century. The legacy of the Revolution, according to Mason, was to bestow new respectability on popular singing, reshaping it from an essentially conservative means of complaint to an instrument of social and political resistance.

The author traces, first, the emergence of a new interest in the possibility of gestural communication within the philosophy, theater, and pedagogy of the last decades of the Old Regime. She then explores the varied uses and significance of a variety of semiotic experiments, including the development of a sign language for the deaf, within the language politics of the Revolution. A Revolution in Language shows not only that many key revolutionary thinkers were unusually preoccupied by questions of language, but also that prevailing assumptions about words and other signs profoundly shaped revolutionaries' efforts to imagine and to institute an ideal polity between 1789 and the start of the new century. This book reveals the links between Enlightenment epistemology and the development of modern French political culture.
