Book Gestion de projet

Download or read book Gestion de projet written by Romain Appercel and published by Editions Ellipses. This book was released on 2021-11-23 with total page 189 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2020-06-11 with total page 93 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Developments in the project management field are ongoing. This professional field continuously broadens and becomes profounder. Therefore, IPMA has extended its attention from project management to program management, portfolio management and project support (PMO). This has made manifest the need for a reference model in which the various functions and corresponding competences and the relations between them are presented. Not only for HR managers, but also for project and program managers and PMO heads. In the first edition of this book, attention was given to the regular functions in the project management field, as they are applied in the IPMA 4-level system. With the publication of this second edition, the wish has been realized to make a complete function building for the project management field available. The second edition of this book does justice to PMO professionals needs for recognition and appreciation of their added value for projects, programs and portfolios. This is a publication of IPMA-NL.

Download or read book Les comp tences pour g rer un projet written by Jean Le Bissonnais and published by . This book was released on 2003 with total page 59 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Project Management in Extreme Situations

Download or read book Project Management in Extreme Situations written by Monique Aubry and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2016-12-12 with total page 316 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The growing complexity of projects today, as well as the uncertainty inherent in innovative projects, is making obsolete traditional project management practices and procedures, which are based on the notion that much about a project is known at its start. The current high level of change and complexity confronting organizational leaders and managers requires a new approach to projects so they can be managed flexibly to embrace and exploit change. What once used to be considered extreme uncertainty is now the norm, and managing planned projects is being replaced by managing projects as they evolve. Successfully managing projects in extreme situations, such as polar and military expeditions, shows how to manage successfully projects in today’s turbulent environment. Executed under the harshest and most unpredictable conditions, these projects are great sources for learning about how to manage unexpected and unforeseen situations as they occur. This book presents multiple case studies of managing extreme events as they happened during polar, mountain climbing, military, and rescue expeditions. A boat accident in the Artic is a lesson on how an effective project manager must be ambidextrous: on one hand able to follow plans and on the other hand able to abandon those plans when disaster strikes and improvise new ones in response. Polar expeditions also illustrate how a team can use "weak links" to go beyond its usual information network to acquire strategic information. Fire and rescues operations illustrate how one team member’s knowledge can be transferred to the entire team. Military operations provide case material on how teams coordinate and make use of both individual and collective competencies. This groundbreaking work pushes the definitions of a project and project management to reveal new insight that benefits researchers, academics, and the practitioners managing projects in today’s challenging and uncertain times.

Download or read book Renforcer les comp tences au Cameroun written by Shobhana Sosale and published by World Bank Publications. This book was released on 2016-10-24 with total page 263 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Cameroon has strong goals for its growth and development. By 2035, it aims to be an emerging economy. The country s medium-term goals are focused on alleviating poverty, consolidating democracy, and achieving national unity while respecting diversity. This report contributes substantively to the Government s vision on Strategy for Growth and Employment, putting human development and employment at center stage. Cameroon faces three main challenges: Developing more robust formal and informal employment opportunities by strengthening human development. Increasing productivity in agriculture, mining, and key value chains (timber, tourism, and information and communication technology). Advancing growth by investing in infrastructure and improving the business climate and regional integration. The Strategy sets a target for reducing underemployment from 76 percent of the workforce to 50 by 2020 by creating tens of thousands of formal jobs. But based on results from the first two years of its implementation, the strategy is far from achieving that target. This report is meant to support Cameroon s efforts to build the skills of its workers. This report reaches conclusions and offers policy recommendations to answer six questions: What has been the trajectory of Cameroon s economic growth? Which sectors have contributed to growth? What jobs are being created? What types of skills are being used in the sectors where the highest percentages of the population are employed? What are the demand and supply barriers to skills? Which policies and institutions are in play? Are they sufficient? What needs to or could be reformed? Cameroon has good prospects for moving to middle-income status. It can create a more dynamic, responsive workforce. But a new strategy is required. It can be done. This report proposes new directions and provides recommendations. Outcomes are expected. Work has never been easy. But many have been working and Cameroon can work."
