It was arranged that I should undertake the medical section of the work; and since then I have given, once a year or oftener, a course of lectures on Medical Nursing. Now that other duties prevent me continuing these lectures, I have thought that in this form they may continue to be of some service, and to a greater number. They are here presented exactly as they were delivered during the present autumn, with the exception of the last, which formed the concluding lecture of a previous course.
