Die Beitrage beschaftigen sich daher sowohl mit Bildtheorien, die im Jesuitenorden eine grosse Rolle spielten, als auch mit fur den Orden besonders bedeutsamen Bildern sowie mit der Frage nach der Rolle des Wissens und der Visualisierung der Ordensidentitat."
