Très rapidement, les différents gouvernements ont mis en place des mesures de confinement et des règles sanitaires très strictes pour limiter la propagation du virus au sein de la population. La profession dentaire, considérée comme à haut risque d'exposition a dû adapter son exercice en le limitant aux urgences dentaires. L'objectif de cette étude descriptive exhaustive répétée à un an d'intervalle et pendant la même période (du 17 mars au 3 mai 2020 et 2021) était d'évaluer et de comparer la demande de soins aux urgences dentaires du pôle d'odontologie du Centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU) de Nice. La demande a été moins élevée en 2020 qu'en 2021. Les hommes ont été significativement plus nombreux les deux années et les urgences pédiatriques significativement plus nombreuses en 2021, mais systématiquement moins nombreuses que celles des adultes. Le pourcentage de patients non suivis par un chirurgien-dentiste en amont de la consultation en urgence a doublé une fois le premier confinement passé. Les patients consultant en 2020 ont manifesté une douleur significativement plus élevée que ceux de 2021 et les demandes de soins ont été différentes.

Indeed, central banks are often now seen as 'the only game in town', and a place to put innumerable problems vastly exceeding their traditional remit. These new powers do not fit well, however, with the independence of central banks, remote from the democratic control of government. Central Banking in Turbulent Times examines fundamental questions about the central banking system, asking whether the model of an independent central bank devoted to price stability is the final resting point of a complex development that started centuries ago. It dissects the hypothesis that the Great Recession has prompted a reassessment of that model; a renewed emphasis on financial stability has emerged, possibly vying for first rank in the hierarchy of objectives of central banks. This raises the risk of dilemmas, since the Great Recession brought into question implicit assumptions that the pursuit of price stability would also lead to financial stability. In addition, the border between monetary and fiscal policy was blurred both in the US and in Europe. Central Banking in Turbulent Times asks whether the model prevailing before the Great Recession has been irrevocably altered. Are we entering, as Charles Goodhart has hypothesized, into the 'fourth epoch' of central banking? Are changes to central banks part of a move away from the global liberal order that seemed to have prevailed at the turn of the century? Interest in translation and music, however, has so far been relatively limited, mainly because translation of musical material has been considered somewhat outside the limits of translation studies, as traditionally conceived. Difficulties associated with issues such as the 'musicality' of lyrics, the fuzzy boundaries between translation, adaptation and rewriting, and the pervasiveness of covert or unacknowledged translations of musical elements in a variety of settings have generally limited the research in this area to overt and canonized translations such as those done for the opera. Yet the intersection of translation and music can be a fascinating field to explore, and one which can enrich our understanding of what translation is and how it relates to other forms of expression. This special issue is an attempt to open up the field of translation and music to a wider audience within translation studies, and to an extent, within musicology and cultural studies.
