Book excerpt: Welcome to Hawthorne Asylum. Welcome to hell. This place isn't run by the doctors who make you talk or the orderlies who force you to swallow your pills. It belongs to them, to the Infamous Four. Tabloids, talk shows, documentaries--their faces have been plastered everywhere. Not because of their impressive rap sheets, but because of how they look. And when I arrive, they take notice. Especially their king: Lincoln "Laces" Caster. He's dark and disturbed. He's controlling and possessive. Exactly the kind of boy I should stay away from if I want to clear my name and get out of here. *LACES is not intended for readers under seventeen. This book has strong language/cursing and triggering scenes (that might not be suitable for everybody). Laces is a slow burn that builds toward intimate scenes as the series progresses. This is book one in the Boys of Hawthorne Asylum series. Books 1-3 is Laces story.

Book excerpt: Both new and experienced hand weavers will find inspiration in this beautiful guide to creating lace. While true laces are laboriously made with needles or bobbins, hand weavers can use a loom to quickly produce lovely lacy fabrics. The loom-controlled textures depend upon groups of threads that work together and do not reveal their full effect until the cloth comes off the loom and is washed. Suitable for self-study or class use, this book offers weavers a sense of design mastery and a wealth of ideas and lace patterns.

Book Turkmen and Afshar Knittings Laces Of Kadirli Vol 2

Download or read book Turkmen and Afshar Knittings Laces Of Kadirli Vol 2 written by Kenan Erzurum and published by Hiperlink eğit.ilet.yay.san.tic.ve ltd.sti.. This book was released on 2017-03-22 with total page 313 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When I first began examining laces and knittings of my hometown, I did not think I would find enough material to fill two volumes. As I began visiting villages, I encountered more material than I expected and I decided to prepare the second voulme about laces. Actually, I had already gathered enough material for my book in the first years of my travels to Kadirli. I was planning to work on weavings in my last visits. However, I found such laces in villages I visited that I could not stay indifferent. Most of the laces I saw had both very interesting names and shapes. This is how this second volume emerged. I also saw once more that same materials were still in use in almost every region of Kadirli and the skill and art was kept alive by being taught to young people by elder women. Sadly, I also encountered many laces whose names were already forgotten. This came to me as a sign of the end of an era.

Book Turkmen and Afshar Knittings Laces Of Kadirli

Download or read book Turkmen and Afshar Knittings Laces Of Kadirli written by Kenan Erzurum and published by Hiperlink eğit.ilet.yay.san.tic.ve ltd.sti.. This book was released on 2017-03-22 with total page 368 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
