Hal tersebut, dapat dikatakan jika Indonesia saat ini telah memiliki sistem perlindungan hukum Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) yang sangat kuat. Bagi sektor ekonomi kreatif adanya perlindungan tersebut tentu merupakan kabar baik. jika seseorang terbukti melanggar hak ciptaan, maka sanksi yang dikenakan tidak sembarangan. para pelaku ekonomi kreatif yang telah memiliki Hak Kekayaan Intelektual tidak perlu khawatir jika produknya diambil atau ditiru kompetitor. HKI telah melindungi suatu produk dari kemungkinan klaim pihak lain. Buku ini wajib dibaca oleh mahasiswa tingkat Sarjana Hukum, Magister Hukum, ataupun mahasiswa program Doktor Hukum dengan minat kekhususan HKI. Selain itu para praktisi hukum, mulai dari pengacara, konsultan hukum, konsultan Kekayaan Intelektual, Jaksa, Hakim menjadikan buku ini sebagai referensi penyelesaian kasus-kasus Hak Cipta Karya Musik dan Lagu secara dan konkret dan adil.
