Book La gestion strat gique du changement

Download or read book La gestion strat gique du changement written by Michel Arcand and published by . This book was released on 2024-08-08 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. 9).

Book Ethics Psyche and Social Responsibility

Download or read book Ethics Psyche and Social Responsibility written by Ana Maria Davila Gomez and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2016-05-23 with total page 182 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The last few decades have seen significant changes in the structure of business organizations, including downsizing, outsourcing and flattened management structures. The effects on employees have been considerable. In this context the importance of the psychological contract between employer and employee has been overlooked, and there is uncertainty about what can be done to bring about changes to this contract and ultimately the future of organizations. This important book considers the psychological aspects of organizational life, particularly in the context of firms' ethical behaviour and its implications for corporate social responsibility. The authors consider the effects of corporate activity and change on individuals, not just in their working lives, but also in their family and social lives. They address a diverse number of topics from a variety of theoretical standpoints in an ongoing attempt to redress this neglected field of research.

Book Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference of Economics and Management CIREG 2016 Volume II

Download or read book Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference of Economics and Management CIREG 2016 Volume II written by Houcine Berbou and published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. This book was released on 2020-04-06 with total page 657 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book brings together papers presented at the 3rd Conference of Research in Economics and Management (CIREG) held in Morocco in May 2016. With a focus on the challenges of SMEs and innovative solutions, they highlight the contribution of researchers in the fields of business and management, with all their micro and macro-economic aspects. They shed light on the universal scientific vision of the importance of SMEs with answers relevant to their local context and adapted to their specific national situation. The relevance of SME research lies in its heuristic value of analyzing change, rather than in constructing a category, a particularly useful empirical concept. This third volume is focused on marketing and human resources.

Book La Recherche Intervention Dans les Entreprises et les Organisations

Download or read book La Recherche Intervention Dans les Entreprises et les Organisations written by Anthony F. Buono and published by IAP. This book was released on 2018-02-01 with total page 313 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume continues to build on the relationship between the Research in Management Consulting series and the intervener-researchers at the Socio-Economic Institute for Firms and Organizations (ISEOR) in Ecully, France, extending that partnership to our recent work with the French Foundation for Management Education (FNEGE), a foundation dedicated to closing the gap between the teaching and practice of management in France. As part of the Foundation’s multifaceted activities—which range from seminars and an advanced training initiative for French doctoral students to joint programs with international organizations an associations—FNEGE partnered with ISEOR to sponsor a series of workshops on developing high quality intervention-research. This volume is one of the results from that endeavor. Although intervention-research helps to uncover valuable insight into organizational dynamics and performance, the challenge of capturing and disseminating that insight to both academics and practitioners is entrenched in the rigor-relevance debate. While we are witnessing increased calls for “actionable knowledge,” this ideal, unfortunately, remains a rather elusive concept as critics contend either that rigorous academic research falls well-short of relevance to the practitioner world or research that proves to be valuable to practitioners falls short of the rigor expected in academic life. This volume is intended to help bridge that divide. Drawing on the FNEGE-ISEOR intervention-research workshop, the volume contains 18 chapters that explore the intervention-research process, from initial conceptualization, to implementation, to publication. The volume will be published in French and English

Book Economics with Heterogeneous Interacting Agents

Download or read book Economics with Heterogeneous Interacting Agents written by Alan Kirman and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2001-06-01 with total page 362 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book analyses situations in which individual agents, who might be different from each other, interact and produce behaviour on the aggregate level which does not correspond to that of the average actor. This leads to aggregate outcomes which would be impossible to explain in a more standard approach. Aggregation generates structure and, as a result, interaction and heterogeneity can be handled and we no longer have to rely on the over-simplified reduction of the behaviour of the economy to that of a "rational" individual.

Book Case Studies in Innovation for Researchers Teachers and Students

Download or read book Case Studies in Innovation for Researchers Teachers and Students written by Heather Fulford and published by Academic Conferences Limited. This book was released on 2012 with total page 183 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many would say that innovation is a major driving force in our economy but they would be wrong. Innovation has driven life on earth for about 4 billion years. Thus there is no reason to wonder why it is so very important in all aspects of our lives. As academics we are interested in studying innovation from many different perspectives. But the subject is not only of interest to academics. Both industry and government can obtain distinct advantage from innovation. There is also the public services sector and the NGOs as well. It is essential to remember that innovation is not a solitary activity: it is intensely based on relationships which are a key to its success. Heather Fulford is a leading authority on innovation and she has selected 10 important pieces of research which she believes will be of use to all interested readers. The ten cases and research studies presented in this volume serve to illustrate the reach and scope of innovation. Readers, researchers, teachers and students will find this book very rewarding.
