La question qui se pose est la suivante : reviendra-t-on à la situation d'avant « Covid-19 » après les plans de relance des économies mondiales ?

L'étude a suggéré quelques recommandations pour contrer la crise, telles que l'augmentation du taux de croissance des investissements, l'augmentation de la productivité et de la compétitivité des secteurs de production réels, l'augmentation du volume des dépenses totales, en plus du lancement de programmes d'emploi et de la promotion de petits et moyens projets.

This paper tests the hypothesis that the stock of foreign debt acts as a disincentive to private investment in the specific case of the Philippines. The empirical estimates provide support for this hypothesis, particularly after 1982. The estimates indicate that a $1.3 billion debt reduction (such as the one completed through the buyback operation in early 1990) would increase investment demand by something between one half and two percentage points of GNP.
